Does alcohol go bad?

Probably a stupid question but I have no idea! :) We've had a bit left in a bottle of peach schnapps in the cupboard forever (okay, like a few years) and I'm wondering if I should just throw it out, or if it would still be okay to use.

I think it would be okay to use it....I have had a bottle of Kalhua in my cupboard for two years now, and it is still good..So my Mom tells me...

should be fine... may want to soak in warm water in case its crystallized at all
