What's your favorite time of day?

I love the morning, when its quite and I have peace.....with my coffee, but at the same time I love when ds gets home from school, I enjoy hearing about his day, and watching dd and ds reconnect from the day apart......and the way the gobble the afternoon snack, like no food has ever tasted that good.....:biggrin:

I like mornings or late at night - when all is quiet, when I can hear sounds of nature, and I have time for me. My other fav time would be when dks are getting along and just listening to their chatter! :)

I enjoy the morning. Wait a minute, My favorite time is when all the work is done and there is nothing calling for my attention.

I love morning!! dh and I get up quite early, it gives us a chance to visit. He leaves between 5:30 and 6 am, then I have a little quiet time before the boys get up!

It is a beautiful morning here-the sun is shining and the birds are singing!!

I love early mornings, especially when I'm the only one awake. LOL I'll make the coffee and when that's all done I'll pour myself a cup and either sit out on the front steps and listen to the birds and squirrels or I'll go sit out in my porch and watch the squirrels retreive peanuts from the squirrel feeder. LOL When dh gets up the first thing he does is turn the radio on and UP... and there goes the peace and quiet. LOL Then the kids start coming in and I don't have any more quiet until it's time to put them down for their naps/quiet time. Even then I'm not assured that it's always going to be quiet. LOL I also like late evenings when I can go outside and hear nothing but the crickets and toads from a nearby pond. An added plus to this picture is if's a clear nite and the moon/stars are shining brite across the darkness. Very peaceful.

I'm with everyone else. Mornings are my favorite. I make a point to get up before anyone else, before the sun comes up. I get a good cup of flavored coffee and head to the den. I settle into a comfy chair that faces the windows of the den. Then den is on the east side of the house, so I watch the day begin. The only sound will be the washing machine on laundry mornings (which is most mornings :lol: . This is my time. Like Brichard, I am reading the Bible cover to cover this year. I spend time in prayer just before I wake up ds. It' a great time to recharge. I find when I don't make time for this quite reflection, my day doesn't go near as well.

I think that my favorite time of the day is at night when everything has been done, and there is nothing left for dh and I to do but watch tv and talk about how our day went. I enjoy this because it is one of the only times that dh and I can just sit around and talk.

I like late night. That is the best chance I get at having time to myself. I have a hard time waking up and feeling rested before 9 AM (regardless when I go to bed), so waking up to an alarm at 6:30--I just feel ARGH!

I love the peace and quiet of night time. I can have complete thoughts without being interrupted and I know that sleep will come next, not kids waking up needing something.
