I had to wake up early this morning... one of my families needed to drop their kids off a little earlier than normal. She'll also be picking them up about an hour earlier... so that will be nice. :)
Dd has a second interview over at Country Inn and Suits this afternoon. I think she's been rather bored since she quit her job at Wendy's. I'm hoping she'll get the job. They're only giving 3 people a second interview... they'll let her know by Friday. Keep your fingers crossed for her. :)
Looks like another nice day... thinking about packing a lunch and taking the kids to the park. Picking my mom up after work and running a few errands and hoping to get home early, don't want to miss American Idol.
Anyway... hope you all have a good day.
early dismissal for the kids today, i think DSis playing golf but he pulled a sybill yesterday and went from great mood to bizarre after his scout thing so i am not sure! LOL
DD needs some baseball shoes and new tennis shoes so I guess we will do that. Need to finish laundry. I have been bad since the party and haven't hit the treadmill..did run on the cruise but i am feeling it so i AM going to hit the treadmill today!!!
hope the interview goes well, Diane!
Good luck to your dd, Diane!
Ann, sorry to hear about ds's Sybill yesterday, lol.
DS has an early dismissal day today, as well. He and some friends are doing their usual buffet lunch at Pizza Hut, then he's going to a friend's house after. Doing dinner at Dad's tonight then I have my last fitness class (thought that was last week, lol). DS's math tutor is coming tonight.
I got up early becuase I couldn't sleep anymore... kept thinking of all the thinks I needed to do. I already have some laundry going. My new washing machine is great!
We got all the bedrooms done now and they look good. I need to finish up the kitchen this morning (it's almost done) and then start on the computer room. It's a mess. I have done anything except for unpack in here so there is stuff all over the place.
I have watched tv in quite some time so have no clue as to what is going on. I have a bunch of stuff on tape that my mom recorded for me, but American Idol wasn't one of them. Maybe I'll try and catch it tonight. I really liked it a lot last season.

Morning! Not motivated to anything. lol Need to do laundry, straighten up the house and then there's Brownies this afternoon. I also need to pick up more GS cookies and something for my mom's b'day tomorrow.
Ticked off at dh, and dd isn't doing much to stay on my good side lately either. LOL
Diane - good luck to your dd!!
JAK - sounds like you've gotten a lot done esp. with being away and getting ready to go away again -- have fun btw!
Ann - hop to it! At least one of us has to get some excercise today! lol
Bev - how old is your ds again? Are ya'll in a small town that he walks everywhere he goes?

Jen, ds is 13 and in grade 8. Pizza Hut is within walking distance from the school/our house (maybe 10 minute walk). His friend that he's going to in the afternoon lives further from the school/Pizza Hut/our house, but his friend's dad is going to pick them up at the restaurant after lunch and I will get him from his friend's after I'm done work. Our city is about 110,000 people.
Hope you find some motivation soon ;)
Bev, do you have to write a note to the school to do that? Our kids aren't allowed to walk off campus without notice. The big thing here is on the last day to school to walk to a nearby place, but even that's discouraged, mainly cause the restaraunt doesn't want a bunch of unsupervised adolescents around! ;)
Ann, it was an early dismissal day here (like you had), so once school's "out", they don't need permission to leave the premises (otherwise they would have). I think Pizza Hut is used to the kids coming on early dismissal days. Plus the highschool is right behind the restaurant, so they have kids from there quite frequently too. I think there were about 6-8 kids that went in ds's group yesterday.
