Back to Monday already. The weekends sure do fly by fast... 8o Wet and gloomy here... it looks like were in for some more rain. The storm we were suppose to get last night didn't last very long, but it was nice to get some much needed rain. Everything is greening up so nice...

Not too much on the agenda for today. Trying to think of a fun/easy craft we can do. I thought about making play-doh... but not too sure if I have all of the ingredients. I'll have to check and see. If not... I'm sure I'll find something else.

Were taking care of Sarah tonight... always look forward to that. Tomorrow is dh's birthday so I've got a little bit of grocery shopping to do after she's picked up. Were having everyone over for steaks on the grill... :licklips: A few of us aren't "steak" people and are opting for a hamburger instead so I guess it will be a mix of different things. LOL

Anyway... hope you all have a great day!

Expecting a busy day at work...2nd last day the students are allowed to be here in residence...probably only have less than 1/4 left to go anyway.

Nice day, supposed to get a high of 25 celcius but a chance of rain and a severe thunderstorm this afternoon.

It may be all beef but not quite the same form. LOL... Actually, I may opt for a burger myself. :)

Back to the daily grind for us. I just have a few more loads of laundry to do and some dishes to wash. I'm looking forward to the kids leaving for school. Yesterday I started watching a VCR tape my mom recorded for us during our move and it has a Friends and an ER that I haven't seen. I need to go get gas in my truck too. I noticed that it had gone down here on base to $1.99 a gallon. I was $2.01 the other day. Off base the cheapest I've seen is $2.03 and the most is $2.17 for regular unleaded. 8o That is one of the many reasons I HATE CA and didn't want to live here! (Although I do like it here, I know after about 3 years I'll be more than ready to move!)

Ann- my mil loves hamburgers, but will not eat steak. I've always found that strange!

Diane- enjoy Sarah tonight.

Bev- Hope you have a great last week of work!

Girls are back to school today after Easter break, but it's a short week since they have Friday off for Parent-teacher interviews. Oldest dd has cap and gown pictures on Friday too.
Have been sick for about a week now with a cold, still not feeling great this morning, but have so much work to do, just kinda vegged yesterday as we got home from a meet at 1:30a.m. (3.5hr drive) then dh left about 10:30a.m. for his uncle's funeral (5 hour drive). He phoned last night and said he had a puddle of fluids under the vehicle when he left his cousins last night to go back to his dad's house so he's not sure if he'll be getting back home today, I'm so not used to being home without him..so wierd.
Well better go and get those girls up!

Enjoy your day:)

I'm so lonely today. The kids are on spring break so they are at my mom's. I have to work today and tomorrow because the other two girls are away for vacation. It's Patriots Day today (Lexington/Concord battle not the football team) so all our clients in Boston have the day off so even the phone isn't ringing. Think I'll just work till 1pm instead of 3pm since it's highly unlikely someone will have an accounting disaster today.

Yesterday was gorgeous out. I planted pansies all around the yard. DH bought 5 6ft evergreens he is planting them around the property line to hide all the garbage the neightbors through on our side of their fence which is falling down. I have to call the town today because they have an inground pool and the fence by the pool is all broken and laying on the ground. Not sure if calling the town will help in them fixing it, but it's just not safe especially with 7-10 year old playing in my yard all the time. They make me crazy!!! (the neighbors not the kids)

Took a cycling class at the gym today and THOUGHT I WOULD DIE. My gosh..... it was an hour and I found myself wondering if they'd notice someone sneaking out the door! LOL It was so tough.

Just finished my salad and need to finish laundry and get the Easter crap back in the attic. WooHoo!! :)

Good morning! Got most all of the "chores" done for the day except laundry. At least that's started and hopefully won't take all day.

Ds1 is back at school today after taking almost all week off last week. He had this headache/fever/exhaustion thing and ds2's nose has been running off his face. Dd1 had a sore throat yesterday, dd2 started a sore throat and hoarseness and my stomach started revolting. Dd2 is sleeping on the couch as I type and was complaining that her stomach wasn't feeling too hot either. 8o Dh is pretty thankful that he's leaving for Atlanta tomorrow and won't be anywhere near us! If it weren't for the stomach issues I'd vote for allergies.

It is such a Monday, lol!

Diane, I would choose a hamburger too. :)
Were you able to go back to sleep, Ann?
Fern, hope you feel better quick!
Linda, enjoy your new flowers! :)

Took oldest ds to the dr this morning for his tummy troubles just to rule out anything other than anxiety/stress. We are going to try Mylanta and see if that helps at all. Meeting with a teacher afterschool to discuss my responsibilities as Volunteer Coordinator for the school next year and tonight I am bringing a family into the Brother Sister program. :)

Pam - I hope everyone is feeling better soon!!! :\

Jenn - I have a friend who teaches a cycling class at the Y and I have heard they can be tough! 8o Glad you got thru it. :thumb:

It was an absolutely beautiful day....low 80's...spent the whole day outside with the dcks. we even read and did art outside. It was nice. Especially since I did not have to be in until 10:30...Think this new schedule is good for my mood.

Have a great night!

My dh's birthday is tomorrow too. He will be the BIG 50! I feel bad that I didn't plan a big party, but I just didn't have it in me. Like you we are grilling. Just having my parents, his parents and the kids over.

Remember way back when, when I said It would be Spring Break before I put all my Christmas stuff away. I was right. I had a snowman collection on the top of the bookshelves that I honestly did not get taken down and packed away until Spring Break last week. Glad to hear you're on the ball with the "Easter Crap"! LOL!
