Good morning!! Wow... I can't believe how good I slept last night. 8o I really had a hard time waking/getting up this morning. It would have been nice to have an extra hour or two. LOL

Dh had his networking meeting this morning so he's already gone. Dd #2 and 3 will be leaving any minute and the house will be pretty quiet. Dd #3 was already given a promotion/raise at work so she's thrilled. Weird hours (11:00 PM to 7:00 AM) but that's the same shift her bf is on so it will work out for them. The only bad thing is the mornings she's got school she'll have to go straight there from work without any sleep. LOL It will be interesting.

Not too much planned for the day. It almost looks like rain... we'll see. It looked like this all morning yesterday but didn't get a drop. LOL We really could use the rain though.

I'm hoping to go out and get some time this weekend to get all my flowers for the gardens then I'll be busy with that. I've decided I'm not going to waste any more $$ on annuals, except for my potted planters and will only get perrenials for the rest. It will be nice next year when I won't have to worry about anything but my potted plants. It get's awfully expensive having to buy flowers each/every year.

Anyway... hope you all have a good day!!

Got my hair cut and colored yesterday. Went to a new gal some friends go to. My place was wonderful but it was just too darn expensive! Got it cut short..decided I am just a short hair girl. Also a little darker..they had been highlighting mine fairly golden. May go back next week and add a few highlights.
DS has his final orchestra concert tonite. This one is a tear jerker cause they do a tribute to the 8th graders.
We are also going out to get white tennis shoes for his tux! LOL

Morning all!

Just getting ready for work. I think I'll be a busy day today. I have to get the bulk of the mother's day projects done. Hopefully the dcks will be all getting along today. They've been going through a "major terrible two's" stage.

I'm not sure if I like my hair yet...It's really short for me. The dcks will definately notice. I did it alittle curly today which I liked better. We'll see.

Have a great day!

Good morning! We got hit again by a 24 hour bug. So far dd1 and ds1 are the only two not down with it. Dh went to work, but I expect him to come home early. If we'd all get it at once we'd be done with it, but with six people it can really drag out.

Lots and lots of laundry today! :D Mostly folding and putting it away though since I kept up pretty good with washing and drying.

Care group tonight, but I guess it depends on how everyone is feeling as to whether we go or not. It's at mil's house next door, so it's nice to be able to decide last minute and just walk on over. :)

I've been lazy this morning. The animals wouldn't be quiet last night so that dh and I could get to sleep. He ended up sleeping on the couch for a while and taking the dog with him. Not sure what was up with the dog, he just kept pacing around our room. The kitten wanted to play but I finally got him settled down and he slept with me. All the animals and dh are sound asleep right now! I got up and watched some tv, still need to take a shower, but I'll wait until dh wakes up.

No plans for today except for work and then tv tonight. I can't believe that Survivor ends this Sunday, Friends ends tonight and then ER next Thursday. Why is the season ending the beginning of May this year and not the end of May like usual? Oh well.

Morning all,

Looks like it is going to be a nice day, the sun is out an fthe skies are blue. I am stuck at hoem today, DH took the van to the shop this morning. Hope I get it back soon.

Have all my house work done except one load of laundry so I am going to take it easy and just hang out with DS#3 till DS#1 and 2 come home from school. Only have my DCK for the morning, Mom is picking him up at 12..A nice easy day.

I'm totally confused about what day it is. We did not have school Monday because all the flooding we got over the past week had cause some sewer problems.

Yesterday we were all pampered at school for teacher appreciation week. Volunteers took our classes while we were treated to a nice long lunch, manicures, pedicures and body massages. What a treat.

Today it was back to the real world. Boy was it real! 12 or 13 more days of school. No word yet about making up Monday.

Off to ds' Spring Band Concert.

Got my hair cut this morning, too. Got the flippy part of the back cut off for summer. I told the girl to leave some length on top so it will 'move' but did she?????? Noooooooo. Oh well, as fast as it grows, it'll be fine by next week.
Got my brows done and colored my hair this afternoon; don't know why I try - as think and dark as it is, it just seems to look darker brown! lol

Kat - what a wonderful treat!!!!
