Last night was my LAST night class session!! I'm so glad to finally be done. Now, I just have to get my application for certificate renewal done and I'm good for 7 years.

I manged a B on my final paper so I should easily get a B in the class. There was a guy in our class that has missed 3 or 4 sessions and we figured he'd dropped the class. I guess he found information on the Internet for one of his papers and just copied it. The instructor gave him an F and kicked him out for plagerism. I'm not sure if he was just kicked out of the class or the college.

Scary thing is that's not that hard to do, unintentionally. That's what I found the hardest part of writing papers, citing sources. It would have been so much easier to express what I wanted to if I didnt' have to worry about citing it.
Anyway, that should be the last writing class I have to take for a while.

OH yeah, we even got out early enough that I was able to make it to Earl May and get my parakeet (my early Mother's Day gift!) She's green with a yellow head--(the only color choice I had)

I'm going to miss visiting WalMart every week, but maybe I won't spend as much money either! :)

HOOOORRRAAAYYYYY!!

Add my warm wishes to you for your completion.

I am also jealous of your parakeet! I am still doing research for one. I am afraid that I may not be able to spend much time with it. Thus, I was thinking about getting two, so the one would have company!

:yippee: Congratulations. I always enjoyed writing term papers but would wait too long to get started and usually have to cut back on some research. It was always something I dreaded starting but once started enjoyed the process. Glad you did so well.

Linda,

Congratulations on finising! I have finals next week and 1 more year to go on my bachelors.

We had an incidence of plagiarism in my last class today. It's usually not just a matter of people not citing sources - there are entire papers available to buy via the internet. Our instructor was gracious enough to simply state that there were some people who had plagiarized, they knew who they were, and they had 2 days to write a new paper and turn it in. Very generous considering what she could have done.

Thank you all!!!

It does feel so good to have that finished.

I think I'll name the bird Angel. We had birds before when our oldest boys were little. We found that it was easier to tame them down so they'd climb on your finger or sit on your shoulder if there wasn't another bird around. My oldest ds could sit an watch tv with his bird on his shoulder.

Angel isn't very tame yet. My youngest dd and ds love to climb on a chair and talk to her. I think they scare here cause she seems pretty nervous yet.

Diane, no thanks, the ****ateils I've met have been a little mean. LOL :)
