I'm always here for you Kat! I don't always check in right away! But I love to share ideas. Right now I am looking for some daily schedules for a 4 year old Kindergarten Program (1/2 days....11:45-2:35). Any ideas???? I've been teaching 5K for the past 12 years...and will continue to do so. Next year, though, I will have 5K in the mornings and 4K in the afternoons. I'm not too concerned about the curriculum, I can develop that. It's the pacing that concerns me. 4K kids are much different that the 5 year olds I've been accustumed to! :) Any help, or suggestions, from anyone would be very appreciated!

Glad to know you are there. Not looking for anything at present. I teach full day kindergarten and we are very academically oriented. I did not even know that 1/2 day kindergarten still existed until one of my students moved away earlier in the year and returned after Christmas, just as we started our first reader. She'd been doing the calendar and having recess. We are working hard to catch her up with the rest of the class. My creative juices usually begin flowing about the middle of June for the next year. My OCD wants everything pretty much mapped out for the next year by then. I can however, roll with the flow once I have an overall plan. LOL Look forward to sharing ideas in the future.
