Dh is taking the kids camping tonight so it will just be ds2 and I. The kids will be packing most of the day, lol! They get just a little bit excited.
Just the usual school/housework/laundry thing to do today.
(Gee, what an exciting start to the Friday thread, eh? )

OMG... that was too funny! I checked the board, no Friday post. The daily thread has been late getting posted lately so I decided to hurry and post one. Came back after posting mine and found THREE of them... 8o 8o I got mine deleted anyway. LOL
Finally Friday!!! It's been a long week. Lots of rain and the kids are driving me crazy!! You'd swear they didn't have a thing in the house to play with...   EVERYthing you suggest isn't good enough... so I decided to just let them sit. Then they were REALLY bored. LOL I told them, it was their choice. They can play and have fun OR, they can sit/do nothing and be bored. Hopefully today will be a better day. I may be able to convince them to make a cake or cookies for snack, but we'll see. (that might be boring too... LOL)
Not too much more planned for my day. Picking my mom up after work today and out to eat and to run some errands. (Wal Mart) I really don't need anything myself but I know she looks forward to her time out so I'm not going to complain. LOL I'm sure I'll be able to find a few things to stick in my cart... I always do. :biglaugh:
Hope you all have a great day today. Take care...

Have a great day today Vea!:D
I'm off to Winners today. I hope! LOL It's getting hot and I only have one pair of shorts. The ones from last year don't quit fit the way they should anymore. :(
Tonight is Harry Potter night. I'm excited, so are the boys.
I think I'm without a car tomorrow so it'll be a quiet day around the house and outside. Dh needs it to help his sister move some stuff.
Have a good day all :)

Diane, I am beginning to dislike Wal-Mart more and more. Every time I go there I find more than just a thing or two to put in my cart and overspend. The other day I was there and it was the first time I only bought what I went in for. I headed straight for the milk, grabbed 4 bags and was gone. I didn't dare browse anywhere else. I'm trying but sometimes it's so hard to pass the sales! LOL
Aw, crud! And I can' t delete mine now either, can I?

Your's was the first one posted... LOL so you won! It's so funny that on some day's nobody posts the morning post until almost noon, and today everyone decides to post one at the same time. LOL
I didn't get out of bed until after 8:30! I have laundry going and after I got off the computer I'm goign to clean the bathrooms. Then off to the grocery store and bank. The kids and I are going to see Shrek 2 this afternoon and we have a few errands to run to town (they don't know that part yet!). All of that should take up the whole day.

I hope your day is better today! Any leads on a new job? It sounds like yours makes you miserable! :\
Another rainy day..okay I think we have the moisture we need, give it a break to soak in!!!!!
Having a grumpy (PMS) couple of days, made a big supper last night, but dh wasn't "in the mood" for it, so he ate left overs from the night before, dd#1 and bf left to go eat at his parents place and dd#2 well she "picked" as usual. Went to sleep to the girls arguing because dd#2 wouldn't give dd#1 her headphones so the baby could listen to music. Then both woke up grumpy and snippy this morning. I can't wait for Monday when a girlfriend and I are running away to the city for 2 days, hopefully I'll come back to a saner household!!

Had a dr's app't this morning and then made banana muffins with dks when I got home. Oldest ds is supposed to be going to a friend's this afternoon. Nothing planned for me. :)
Just woke up! I am so tired! LOL
Have to take dd early to drama camp for a costume fitting. DH and I are going to an adult happy hour at the pool tonite.
Up early, picked up the house, then headed to school. Got everything ready for Monday. I'm keeping things super simple. My whole theme revolves around Rascal Flatts song Mayberry . I've got a man who makes guitars coming in to "pick on a sixstring". We are going to spend the next 3 weeks slowing down and enjoying simple things. We're going to study summer bugs; then have some lessons on the dog days of summer with experiments on evaporation, melting points of chocolate, temperatures of different clothing; lazy daze where we just play quite games, look at clouds; and cool daze where we will be engaged in all sorts of water sports outside. Should be fun and not too much stress for me.
I need to get off here and run and pick up Sonic for ds. I promised him that for lunch today. I have a hair appt. today and then Braeden will be spending the night. I would like to go to see The Stepford Wives tonight, but don't know if I should try that with a baby. Might wait till tomorrow.
Work today. The sun is shining brightly, but it's cccool outside :{
I think we are going to go buy our new car tonight. I'd like to get it out of the way and hopefully have it by next weekend as we are travelling out of town to a family reunion and if it's going to be a hot one (which I hope it is), I'd like to have the A/C, lol.
I need to get a handle on some laundry. Dh and I are going to go to Niagara Falls for the night Saturday and I'll want to get some stuff packed. Ds has a football game in the a.m. and then he and my nephew (17), who is staying Sat. night, are going paintballing in the afternoon. It will be nice to get away for a bit. DH and I haven't been away for a night without ds since we went to Cuba in 1998 (sure, ds has spent lots of nights away from us, lol).

NO Leads yet...but I'm going to sit down this weekend and do it...I ended up getting hurt yesterday. I made the mastake of standing one of the dcks up on the changing table after I chacged her...I was pulling up her pants. Well she decided to turn and try to jump off the other side. 8o I caught her enough so she didn't get hurt...but I wrenched my back and I hit my arm on something so I have a bruise from my elbow to my arm pit. Think I'm going to have to file an accident report. I wasn't at first but now with my back hurting I should.
Oh I got my head teachers certificate in the mail today so that will be great to put on the resume.

Good luck finding a new job... You've been sounding so down about it lately... hope something good comes your way soon. Bummer about getting hurt... I hope you heal quickly. :) Congratulations about getting your teachers certificate.
