Wow haven't been here much this week...been exhausted and not feeling the best. My back is acting up again...he's sending me for Physical Therapy. Hopefully that'll help.

Going out (with the guy I meet on Internet) to the movies...We're going to go see spiderman 2. Maybe get something to eat after. This is going good just slow because our schedules have been conflicting.

Nothing exciting going on here. Woke up before 6 but haven't really done much yet. I'm going to clean the house this morning and then run errands with dh this afternoon. Dks come home tomorrow with my fil and he's staying the night with us. I'm looking foward to having my kids back home it's been quiet w/o them here.

Good morning. I was up too late last night so I'm beat. Friends came over for bbq dinner and we sat by the fire until almost 2 A.M.
Dh is gone to the funeral and I am supposed to be getting ready to leave. I am slowly getting there. There is a big party in town tonight, everybody is going. They will have a big fire going and a live band, no kids allowed. It sounds like such a hoot and of course we already made plans with dh's sister to go camping. I found out about the party a few days after making plans and would feel terrible to cancel. The kids are so excited. So, camping tonight. It will still be fun.

well, didn't make it to fanfest. didn't feel well yesterday thought it was from too much wine the night before. DD woke up not feeling well either, stuffy, headaches, sore throat, queasy. she slept most of the day. she started throwing up around 8. at 1 am it hit me! didn't go to sleep till 4. feeling a litte better just food weary. bummer!!!!!!!!

Slept in until 7:30 this morning. 8o Then I went for my walk, took a shower and then picked my mom up and took her to Wal Mart. My oldest sister finally did something nice for my mom by calling her up and inviting her to go out to dinner with them last night... so dh and I ended up going out by ourselves. :) Anyway... seeing I'm on vacation and won't be around too much this week, I decided to take her to Wal Mart this morning so I wouldn't have to worry about trying to get her there at another time. I needed some stuff there too so... it didn't matter.

Dh's washing the car... I got bored and decided to come and see what everyone here was doing. I bought a few more perennials at Wal Mart that I should probably get planted... but felt lazy at the time. Going over to the neighbor's later just to sit/visit. They got their kids a nice big pool... the kind that has a filter and everything, so were hoping that will be the end of them wanting to and hinting about going swimming in our pool. Now if we can only get their ds to stop asking us when/if he can come into our house. :rolleyes: LOL I don't remember my kids ever being that bold (to ask) or nosey... LOL

Melody... Isn't that the way it goes? There are weekends we sit and have absolutely nothing to do, and then there are weekends when were invited to two/three different places and can't decide which one to go to. :rolleyes: LOL Have fun camping! I'm sure your kids will have a lot of fun!
Jak... enjoy getting your kids back. My dd's been gone since Thursday and is suppose to return home today... can't wait! Have a great visit with your FIL

I've got a sinus infection from hell. Started last Sunday with a sore throat and ear ache. Couldn't sleep my throat hurt so bad. I thought it was strep. My throat felt better by Monday evening, but I spent the day on the toilet. Tuesday and Wednesday my head was so clogged, I was sick at my stomach and dizzy. I couldn't spend more than 10 minutes upright. Thursday I finally went to the doctor and got some antibiotics. Friday was another day on the couch. This morning I felt some better which is good because a friend got married today. She had a Hawaiian theme complete with Luau and Polynesian dancers. It was fabulous. I made it for a few hours, but now I pretty much feel like crap again.

This was my week off from summer school too! The next sessions starts Monday and they asked me to teach again. Wishing I'd said "no" now.

Thursday I spent most of the day with my mom at the hospital. She had a colonostomy. They removed some polyps and found a tumor they could not remove. Doctor thinks it could be cancer. She elected to have surgery on Friday since she was already cleaned out, but her doctor would not release her for surgery because of the results of her EKG (showed heart damage from a possible heart attack). Now she has to wait to be cleared by a cardiologist. She's diabetic and has high blood pressure. Her pulse ox was 86 so she was put on oxygen. Now I'm afraid she'll end up falling and breaking a hip tripping over the air hose. She has trouble with her balance anyway. Keep her in your prayers. We should find out about the biopsy on the polyps Tuesday.

Ugh Ann and Kat....sounds like y'all got what we've been going through here. We've been sick all week.

Dh got the stuff going on at your house Ann, and I got the stuff Kat got. Talked to dd last nite over the phone and she's getting it too. My face hurt sooo bad due to all the sinus pressure. Finally called my ob/gyn and he prescribed a z-pack. Feeling much better after just the first day of meds.
