MM! Mornin' ya'll. It is so hot here already....I can't enjoy my cappuccino. lol
We're going to a homeschool meeting on the "American" side of the island. It's a new group for us. We're meeting at the Air Force base's swimming pool. I'm taking my underwater camera along to get a few shots of the kids with their snorkeling gear on.
I had to go to the othmologist yesterday. I thought my eyes were bothering me from allergies. I was sort of correct. Turns out I may be allergic to the plastic in my contact lenses. It seems you can develop an allergy to the plastic over time. I guess along the lines of latex allergy. Anyway, I wound up having to buy (CRINGE) Gla$$es!!!!! I have to wear them for 2 weeks while my eyes clear up then I can try the new brand of lenses the doctor gave me. I'm picking the glasses up at 4:00 today.
I have yard work to tend to this afternoon, trying to get my herb garden back under control. Also planning to order a few hens over the internet when HH gets back from the gym this afternoon. Hope your day is delightful. ßß!

Humidity has rolled back in here this am. Yikes about your eyes Arianna..hope you find some contacts that work. I had an allergic reaction to a latex swim raft at one of our pool parties...it was awful!

Howdy,
I am back at work today after 2 days off. Things are dragging here this am. Everyone else is ready for time off!! I must say that I am glad to work. DD and I got our Riverdance tickets yesterday. I figure that it wii cost me 3 days of work to pay it off!!
We are excited to go to riverdance though. DD's school did a unit on Scotland and she learned the jig. It will be funny to see her face and the "pro" way that it is done.

Well... I'm glad it's Friday! LOL It's going to be a very easy day for me today with only 2 or 3 kids attending day care. The other mom's and dad's had the right idea when they took the day off to make a longer weekend. It's a gorgeous day and we'll probably spend the majority of the day playing outside. I bought them a few new outside/sandbox toys so I'm sure that they'll stay pretty busy. It's SO hard getting them to want to come back inside though... LOTS of screaming and kicking!!! LOL I'm sure if they had their own way they'd spend the entire day out there and if I didn't have a few necessary things to do inside... I'd gladly let them. :) Anyway, I hope you are all having good weather and a great day!!! :)

Ugh.. did I say it was going to have an EASY day for me today??? Boy... what I WRONG!!! LOL I swear, I've been much busier with these three kids than I usually am with my whole group. LOL Sand throwing... hitting, kicking each other... arguing!!! Ugh!!! I think the group is TOO small and their missing the rest of the kids. LOL I sent my 5 year old over to the neighbor's house across the cul-de-sac to play with her 5 year old. Their in each other's Kindergarten class and are "best" friends. LOL Otherwise I have two three year old girls who are into playing "dolls"... and for some reason (hummmm) he didn't want anything to do with THAT business. (as he said) LOL I had my 5 year old invite the neighbor boy over for lunch so their just finishing that up now and then they'll all sit down for a (hopefully) quiet movie. :) LOL Only half of the day left... :yippee: :)

Not too much happening here today. Dh had two softball games today. They are having a tournament this weekend. They won the first one and lost the second, and in the process dh broke his thumb. Of course his stubborn self still insist on playing in the games tomorrow. They might have three. It depends on whether or not they lose one. Since it is a double elimination tournament, when they lose twice they are out of it. For the last two years they have came in second in this tournament and dh wants to come in first this year. I guess we'll see.

Well, they won the game at 9:00 this morning, but they lost the one at 1:00 this afternoon, so we don't have anymore softball this weekend. Dh was a little disappointed, but he got over it. They came in 9th out of 12 teams, so at least they are not last, and now we have the rest of the weekend for final touches before the movers come.
