Anyone have anything exciting to do? We are taking the girls to Josie and the Pussycats (thanks for all the responses by the way.........lol!) tomorrow night and probably doing yard work if the weather keeps up. Still too early to plant anything, but I want to get all my gardens ready.

Going for a 3K run tomorrow morning too. Very frustrating having to rebuild so slowly but better than nothing I guess.

We borrowed "The Committments" from a friend who had it on DVD so we will watch that at some point. I had forgotten how much I enjoyed that movie.

Have a good one whatever you do!

Kathy :-)

We actually don't have much to do!!!!!! Yea!!!!!! DS has a baseball game at noon tomorrow, and our pool is opening for the season so we may go swimming after the game.
We are going to take the kids to see Spy Kids either Saturday night or Sunday afternoon.

To all the runners..good luck in your races this weekend...Kathy, Jeff, AngieR and Brichard..did I miss anyone??

We'll be going back up to my FIL's house early tomorrow morning. Dh and I are going to stop and eat breakfast on our way out so that will be nice. :licklips: We'll be doing our final cleaning and then we'll be all done. :biglaugh: My mom will be having her last surgery next Friday... so I'm sure we'll be spending next weekend sitting in the hospital visiting with her. Were all hoping that she'll be doing well enough to get out on Sunday... Mother's day. There is NEVER enough chairs to sit or room in those darn hospital rooms for too many people to visit... After her l7 day stay during her last visit there... I've pretty much had it with hospitals. I'll be SO glad when it's done and over with... and I'm sure she will too. :) Anyway, hope you all have a nice weekend doing whatever it is your all doing. :)

Dh has a fishing tournament tomorrow. I'm going to plant some more flowers and do a few more pots. Sunday after church we are planning to go to the Ft. Smith Air show and watch the Blue Angels.

She's been doing GREAT... excepting for the fact that her bladder has fallen. There is a name for it but I can't remember what it is. (??) Anyway, it's WAY down there and she's pretty uncomfortable with it. The way I understand it... they'll insert her bladder into a hammock like thing and life it/attach it to something. (??) Were all keeping our fingers crossed that all goes well... but I think it's a pretty common surgery. This should be her LAST surgery... :)

Well I already posted in another post that it looks as if our weekend is going to be softball games. When we are not there we will still be packing. Movers come on Mon, so this is the last weekend. Have a great one!

There is a name for it, but I can't think of it either. My aunt had it and all went well with her surgery. My cousin told me it's hereditary? and that my grandma or great grandma also had it. Yikes! Hope all goes well for your mom!! :)

Took dd and ds to gymnastics this AM. They encourage parents to leave and come back at pick up time, so took the car in for it's oil, lube, filter and 15 point inspection ( the breaks have felt funny the last couple days).
Several hundred dollars and 4 hours later my car in now the proud owner of new front roters, new front and rear breaks, a new washer pump and container ( I knew the container was leaking). As well as the oil change.
Ouch!! Painful on the bank account. I had to walk back to pick up the dk's and then we stopped at McDonalds on our walk back to the garage. They gave the kids each a dealership cap and key chain. ds also got a couple car posters that he wants to put up in his room.

ds is enjoying gymnastics, but gets discouraged because he can't do everything his sister does. He starts on the trampoline next week.

I hope your ds's birthday party went well... what a WET day it turned out to be though... When they said that Saturday was going to be the better day to plan outside activities I assumed that meant that it would be NICE outside. LOL Ugh!!!!

I'm sure my mom's surgery will go just fine. She's just got a bad attitude about it because it's going to slow her down for the summer and she does NOT like not being active so... I'm sure she's going to be very stubborn about it. :( She'll get over it though...

It was a WET day. I also thought it was supposed to be nice. Don't ask me how, but we ended up doing the pinata in the house! :crazyroll We had a lot of fun though. The party started at noon and the last guests left close to 11! My brother got here before 10 a.m, so it was a long day, but lots of fun! :)
