    Thursday

Morning all, been a long time since I started a Morning thread...

Up early, DD is going Whale watching with her 2nd grade class today, and I am
a nervous wreck....not sure they are big enough to hit the sea.....

I have a busy day at work, then home to walk and make dinner, what an exciting life I now lead....I am missing being a SAHM lately, but I need the money.....

Hope your all well....the weather has been great here, and I love it.

Renee, how exciting for your dd. I have never seen the ocean and would love to do that. ((hugs)) I hope your day goes well.
Bev, you must be so happy that you can get reg. visits in with your dad now that the flu thing is over. Enjoy your visit.
A little housework for me today. My cousin is coming by later with her dh and little girl. I haven't seen her in years but have been growing a friendship with her over msn in the last while. She was pretty close to my parents before they moved. I'm looking forward to the visit. She's an hour and half away, same town as fil so I'm sure we can get together next week too.
Had a good chat with my mom last night. She's so sick and tired of living out there. She has been since the get go. Really misses the kids. She's not close to my dads family at all, doesn't see them often and gets annoyed by them quickly.
It is so hard to talk my dad into moving back, he is so convinced he's better out there. Well, he can sit in an apartment here with a dehumidifier and air conditioner just as well. I could see if he was getting out more there but he isn't. Now the doctors say they are not going to put a probe into his lung because this disease he has (myasthenia gravis) couldn't handle it. I think he really feels better off there but I don't think so. He's missing so much with the kids (and so is mom) and visits from my brothers when they can make it this way. I'm frustrated. And sick of being here without them.
Anyhow, that's my mood today. I'm sure it'll perk up once I start doing something.
    Have a good day all

(((Renee))) I'm jealous of your dd's opportunity!!

Bev, how much longer does your dad have to stay at the rehab facility?

(((Mel))) It's hard to be so far away from your family.

Your guess is as good as mine...really. He was fitted for a new brace for his leg last week and he'll get it at the end of next week. Then I guess it depends on how well he walks with it with some physical therapy. I don't think he's in any hurry to come home. I think he likes it there, lol.

I am babysitting today. I know you are all going to find it hard to believe but my little one threw up this morning. My neighbors told me it must be my year for sickness! ARG! She seems fine now, up playing and running around??!

Brichard is off getting a part for our washer and checking out his mom and dad's house to see if the carpet is dry.

I forgot about survivor tonight, yeah! Is ER new?

Glad it's Thursday... Friday for me. Both of my dc families aren't working tomorrow so I'll have the day off. I'm not telling ANYone I have the day off because I don't want anyone finding something for me to do with/for them. I'm going to be selfish and keep the day for myself. LOL I still don't know what I'm going to do but even if I just stay home and veg out... I'll be happy.

Woke up to a few inches of snow, so I had to get up early so I could shovel before my dc families showed up, and to move the car's out of the driveway so dh could get out of the garage. I am SO anxious for spring... am so sick of this snow it isn't even funny. I really shouldn't be complaining because we really have had a mild winter with hardly any snow... but I'm just tired of it. It will be so nice not having to worry about coats, snowpants, hats and mittens, or any of the mess at the front door.

I'm getting rid of my old furniture today... can't wait for that to be gone too so I can see what my new stuff looks like without all the old stuff being crammed in there with it. It's way too crowded... LOL I'll be happy when my other chair get's here.

Kids will be getting off from the bus in a bit so I'd better get going. Hope you all have a great day!

    Diane...
