Glad to hear you found out what's wrong. Hope he's better soon.

So, he's got some anti-biotics and should on the mend in the next couple of days.
I was so worried, you never know with a severe headache what it could be and meningitis kept popping into my mind. I kept asking him to move his neck and asking him if it felt stiff. That and the apendicts (sp) scare me the most. Two of my brothers had theirs burst and one had to be cut before being sedated. Nearly lost him.
Vea, it is great to have drs that care. This isn't the first time she's called to check on the kids like that to see how the night went. Lucky me, because she was going on holidays after today and I would have had to go through the clinic if she didn't suggest seeing him.
I'm so glad they found out what it was. It's funny what goes through your head when you're worried and don't know. You think all kinds of bad things.

You're very fortunate to have such a great doctor too. My dd works with one (also Sarah's doctor) who goes way beyond what is expected of her too. If a client doesn't/can't drive, she'll go pick them up and bring them to the clinic, then take them back home when they're done. She's even stopped to pick up their perscriptions up for them. It's nice to know that there are doctor's out there who really care... especially when they're YOUR doctor. LOL

I hope the meds take hold quickly and he'll wake up feeling much better by the time he wakes up tomorrow.

Thanks Ladies. He's been on the couch since we got home. His fever really spiked again but the tylenol kicked in and he had a pretty big nap. Pain is off for now, thank goodness. He needs a break, poor guy.
Diane, WOW. I've never heard of a doctor going out of their way that much, that's great. Especially knowing it's Sarah's doctor.

I'm glad it wasn't worse! Glad too that his pain has abated somewhat.
Today is a new day and a good day to start anew.

Mel, so sorry your little man has been feeling bad and you've had to worry so. I hate fevers, esp. when their little arms and legs are hot..... bless his little heart.

BTW, with a 38 degree temp, what would that be here in Farenheit? Just curious.

Glad to hear it's treatable and not something scarier!
Hope the meds kick in and he feels better tomorrow.
