    Friday!

Where is everyone? I'm having the dc moms over this morning for muffins for breakfast. I think out of the 4 moms I have only 2 might show up. One for sure and 1 if she remembers. I'm not really excited about it. I have to get my parents more involved in my program. Well, it's not working! They all have to work, that's why I have their kids! Any who, my parents should be arriving some time today. they are driving so I don't know exactly what time they will be here.

    Morning all!

We are all battling this cold/flu that is going around. Hopefully now with spring break, we can rest and get over it.

Still cold here and lots of snow!

My mom and dh's mom are coming for supper tonight. I am going to toss a ham in the crock pot and make some scalloped potatoes. Mil is bringing dessert.

Guess I'll get some housecleaning done too.

Jen, why do you have to get your parents more involved?

Taking ds to the doc at 2, he's just not shaking his croup. DD was wound up on Albuterol last night so she was perky! LOL

Dh took ds1 skiing. We were supposed to go but cancelled the other day when we found out ds2 was sick again. Not much going on, I'm hoping to get a bunch of stuff done. So far, haven't started though. I'm feeling pretty lazy and just don't want to do it. I'm sure I will have a better night and tomorrow once it's done tough. Okay, I'm really procrastinating here.
    Have a good day all

Has to do with the type of dc license that I have. It's a pain in the A$$ if you ask me! In AK we did things as a group of providers with our families 3 times a year so I didn't need to do anything in my own home. Not so here at this base. I'm trying to get other providers more involved to do things as a group, but it's hard because I don't like most of the providers here.

Ann, your doctor has office hours on a holiday? Hope your ds feels better soon.

Dad got home last night and he doesn't have to go back until Tuesday!!!

A girlfriend and I are going to a matinee to see Guess Who.

BevJ - Good Friday is not a professionally recognized holiday here.

Brichard is off today! I have gifts/cards to buy for a family birthday get-together tonight. We are eating at a private club for dinner and then going to a comedy club. Our childrens ministry intern is coming to watch the kids.

I'm off to get my nails done...have a great day!!

Just got back from the dr. Set my c-section date for May 12. I cannot wait, yet on the otherhand feel like the time has flown by and want to just savor every little kick inside me. Oldest ds is going to his first sleepover tonight and I am nervous about how he'll do and if he'll speak up if he decides he wants to come home.

I was out in no-mans-land today. I have a table that I really love from a furniture store, but it is $995 made out of pine. We have an area of Amish people who live about 1 1/2 hours south from me. My sister heard from a friend that there is a good furniture builder out there. We found him and he will make my table out of oak legs and 1 inch solid cherry top, painted and stained to my liking for $670. I was pretty psyched and the kids got to play with some of their kids. Dd watched Amish in the city on tv last year and she was having a ball watching this lifestyle up close. He had all kinds of amazing furniture in there for dirt cheap! Now I have to decide if I want to invest right now for a table or wait. Our current round fits in there fine for now and dh said we should probably get him to make the chairs also. I think I will sit on this for a couple of days and decide.

His lungs were clear, a bit of an ear infection. Then we just talked about what meds to put him on now. It was kind of funny. The only med that seems to help is tylenol with codeine. so the doc decided just to up his codeine and elminate the tylenol. Well, that is evidentally a class c med (narcotic) and the pharmacy was flipping out about it, that the doc had to send in a different form ect. They get the pedi on the phone and he was like 'what a pain' so we just kept him on the ty/co but upped the dose.
