morning. woke up at 5 for no good reason. meeting went well last night. scared the sh!t out of all the parents! LOL You moms with older kids can remember that deer in the headlights feeling when you found out about all the rules, organization requirements, tests ect of middle school. I hope we gave them some info that was helpful.
have DD's speech meeting today to set up for next year. working on the garage sale. that's about it

Feel like I haven't been here in a while.....but it was just most the weekend...LOL. We were dog sitting.

I woke up this morning and the light was still on and yatzee was on the bed next to me....must have crashed last night.

Just work this morning. May stop at a store to see if I can find some kind of sweater to wear with the dress for the wedding this weekend. I found shoes @ DSW. Love that store never been there before.

Dd1 is going to help out a friend of ours today, a new mom of twins! She'll be a sort of mother's helper and is sooo excited, lol! She was doing this little happy dance and then found out she was going to get paid on top of it all! She absolutely loves babies, and she's very good with them. When ds2 had colic/reflux so bad she'd take it in turn to carry him around, trying to comfort him.

Nothing much else is going on today. I think I'm going to bed early tonight... I've been so stinkin' tired lately!

Housework today. It's sunny and warm but I want to get some stuff done and hopefully find more junk in the process for the yard sale. I really hope all my stuff goes. It's mostly baby equip. and baby toys though.
Kids are bringing friends home from school and they are staying for dinner. Should be a loud afternoon. lol

Not much on for me. Work. It's another beautiful day. I think I'm going to go to the mall at lunch and look for new shoes. DS has football tonight.

Up early as the I had the kids again at 5:45. I regular girls will be here at 6:30 so it's an early day for them as well. Something is now wrong with my big cat. He seems hurt. My friend who used to work at a vet office looked him over last night and couldn't find anything (cuts, scratches) on him so it has to be something on the inside. I'm freaked out about it. Calling the vet this morning when they open to see when I can get him in. If it's not one thing it's another with these 2 cats!

Not much... looks like rain again. This weather has been so bizaare. One minute it's thunder/lightening... raining, and ten minutes later the sun is out and it's gorgeous. An hour (or 15 minutes later) it's storming again. Makes it pretty hard to plan anything out doors.

I have Sarah today while Dawn goes to her dr.'s appointment. I don't think I'll have her too long, but any amount of time I can see/have her is good. James' grandma passed away on Mother's day... so they'll be leaving for Iowa on Friday, which means I won't be seeing her for a few day's. Funny how they seem to change so much after you haven't seen them for a few day's. LOL

Jak... I hope your cat is okay. How old is it? Keep us updated...

Here I am, wow......light day at work, boss is out this morning, I have some things to catch up on.....( can you tell how that is going)

Feeling good today........I am considering calling my dermatologist for a second opinion on my shoulder, funny they sent me straight to a surgeon, and not the dermatologist first........well see....

kids have some projects we need to work on tonight, ok they need to work on, I need to push them.....

Dinner should be easy I have chili on my mind........not really rainy, but cloudy and cool so that would taste yummy.

Good morning! I'm back (incase anyone missed me,)
We had a great competitive season this year, and am sad it's over, but happy too because now I have a little more time in my life. My coaching hours are cut down to half of what they are for fall and winter sessions, it's so nice to be home in the evenings when there is daylight.
Also means more time to spend with my granddaughter, she is crawling now and pulling herself up at furniture and standing, life is so great with her around.

It's kinda cool out today and very windy so no stroller walks for today, so guess I have to tend to the heap of laundry, should take dh's judging suit to the cleaners too before I put it away for another year. We were at my sisters wedding on the weekend so I have dress clothes that need washing and ironing, hate ironing!!

It's beeen a really nice day. Beautiful weather....I went shoping for sweaters to wear to the wedding and while I was shopping my boss called on cell and told me numbers were low so I could have the day off. So I kept shopping then grabbed luch came home watch soaps and going to clean house. Then relax.

It is just gorgeous here today. I cleaned out the garage, scrubbed the floor and got my garage sale tables up. Now someone needs to clean out my house and load it into the garage...any offers?? lol

Sun didn't stay long, it was raining by the time I went for lunch at 1:00. Saw a pair of cute shoes at the mall just over a week ago on sale. The store is closing. They were $78 then. Last Friday night when I was there they were down to $56. Still couldn't justify the price but decided today to heck with it, I'm going back to get them. Get to the mall at lunch and the store has already closed wah!!! Oh well, going shopping out of town this coming Sat. so will find something then, I'm sure.

Fern-- Welcome back. Glad your season went well. How'd your dd make out?

It was and actually still is, gorgeous here. It got up to 82 and I didn't see a cloud. I even displayed my winter white ankles, and noone freaked out. LOL I think the weather's going to change by tomorrow, so we're cooking out again tonight. I love the easy cleanup.


One of my teachers had a heart attack last night. She's a sweetie, so if you could hold a good thought for her recovery, I'd appreciate it. I heard they're thinking of taking her down to Syracuse for possible surgery. I forget how small this place is sometimes.

I did have to take out son to speech.
after I dropped him off, I went shopping for a end of the yr gift
for my dd's teacher. decided to go w/ a bath theme.
bought a basket, shower puff, back massager, brush for the feet & a bath pillow. I still need to get some bubble bath & those pretty little balls things.
what are they called for the bath ?

I picked ds up, mailed off some pics to my aunt.
treated ds to lunch, came home did light cleaning.
picked dd up, thats my day ! boring huh ?
