    Little snot in my house!

You will never guess what happened on Friday night here at home!
My husband and i went out for supper with friend, my daughter and a friend stayed home and watched movies will my faither in law was home watching a hockey game. We came home and drove myd aughters friend home, then returned and settled to go to bed. My husband did not feel good as the rich indian food we eat was giving him indigestion, so he stayed up and was working on the computer down stairs. I figured he was going to let the dog out so left the back patio door open for him for this job. I am climbing into bed and my daughter has already fallen asleep when all hell borke loose...
The back pation door swings open and i am not worried thinking its the hubby letting the dog out..but wait a minute the dog is in the house and starts to bark his head off...i hear footsteps in the kitchen and then hear my husband bounding up the stairs ...whats going on...I grab cloths and hear my husband say..."Excuse me, but what are you doing in my house?" (my hubby never swears). I hear this and I start running down the hall towards this guy who is standing in the middle of my house... I start swearing and screamming at him to get the &%$#%%^$% out of my house..(when mad i can peal the paint off the walls with the cuse words)...The invader runs for the front door and finds it locked, then my husband lunges and tell sthe guy to get out and swings the garage door open...the little snot runs for the garage door and I am right behind him swing the door shut and have him traped in side the garage, i pin my body against the door and yell for the hubby to call the police and check on our kid who is standing in her bedrrom door confused as to what is going on.... The garage door has a window and I start screaming at this little snot asking him who he is and what he is doing in my house. He is telling me he is 15 years old, (looks it) and by his demeaner is so drunk and stoned he does not know what he is doing. He came into the house thinking he could crash here and looking for his friend Chris who lives in the neighbourhood??? This kid admits he was partying several blocks away, fesses up that he had done Crisytal meth hits and was completely incoherent, byu the tiime i had finished with him, he was balling like a baby and wanted his mommy...The cops took 15 minutes to get to us, and confirmed his story that he was partying and was so high he did not know what he was doing, he lives about 20 minutes away by car and his friends played a common party trip on him by dropping him off in a foreign neighbourhood and telling him he could go and crash at this or that house...this party trip is called DROP OR DRAG where the friends drop the most drunk or stoned partyer in a strange place or drag the kids from behind the car.....
Sorry have to go to church but will continue the story later...
    Cheers Toby

Wow... how scary for you. I hope we never have that kind of excitement around our house. I guess it makes you realize just how important it is to keep those doors locked.

Sorry about not being able to finish my last post (and all the typos!) but here is part two of the story:

The police arrived to find me pinned against the door of the garage and the kid by this point had calmed down and was crying. The little snot tryed to push me away from the door, and tryed to get out of the garage anyway he could so leaves me with a mess to clean up after. Two police , one male and one female in separate cars take this kid into custody and we all realize just how screwed up his life really is. His friends have played a trick on him, he lives with his grandmother as his parents have lost custody of him and he only goes to school when he feels like it. He is only fifteen and is already in the system for stealing a car a year ago...a very lost child...He admitted to taking crystal meth and had 4 coolers and was smoking pot so he reallyw as not in any condition to be thinking straight...he had rung the doorbell of our back nieghbours house and then when he could not get in there he went through her back yard over the fence and walked through our yard and through my back patio door. Because the lights where on in the sun room and the kitchen he seriously thought we left them on for him, so he walked right in calling out his friends name ..."hey chris can i crash here tonight?"(there is no chris on our whole end of the street that i know of???)The police explain that kids who do crystal meth are so out of it that they truly think they are not doing anything wrong, and that it literally eats away at the brain , this drug is cheap, and sometimes cheaper then pot and is very addictive. This is the new drug of choice form kids this age because it is cheap and can be eaten, or smoked.
The police ask if anything is missing and we all decide to let the kid go home and face the rath of his grand mother and a good hard lecture from the cops in the squad car. By this point it is nearly 2:00 in the morning and my husband and i clean up everything the police hall this kid away and i have a talk with my daughter to make sure she is ok...my daughter at thirteen is cooler then cool and teases me on my foul language (guilty as charged) and laughs and tells me..."It's so typical of my parents, with Dad asking politely why there is a stranger in the house and you mom, being the momma bear charging at the poor guy and then lecturing him on how to get his life back on track, and to go back to school".... my daughter is really growing up and she goes to bed without a problem. I then take one look at my husband and realize we have a new problem...he is running for the bathroom and comes out moments later, telling me he is sick..oh oh...food poisoning....and every hour on the hour for the rest of the night he is throwing up...next day we take him to the doctors and sure enough he has food poisoning ....what a weekend...i think i have had one weekend to remember...

Dang Toby .. you have really had one messed up weekend for sure .. lol hmmmmmmm
seriously though am glad it turned out as it did.. an that no one was hurt. hope ya never have to go thru that again. But am even happier to hear that at least it doesn't sound as if the child is a voilent type child.
Crystal Meth has been around for sometime now and it has become drug of choice by many kids; depending on their nature, depends on their reaction to things. So am really thrilled he has/was good natured type of kid or should I say mellow type. I am glad to know it ended well for ya'll ... geezzzzzzzz
prayers for a quiet week now ..
