I'm so excited...it's been so lonely during the week...I'm sure I'll get used to it but it drove me nuts this week.

Not much planned just going to work on cleaning up this place.

Well I'm baby sitting again today. Dil works 4 10's normally, but they called her in to work today. She usually goes in at 8:30 but this morning had to be in at 7:00. Our power went off at 5:00 this morning because of all the storms we had. We have tree branches everywhere, but I'm not complaining. We needed the rain so bad.

I have 4 days of workshops next week out of town. As luck would have it dil's mom has that week off, so she will be keeping the kids. Then I'll get them again. They'll go to my school's day care when school starts back up.

I've about found a rhythm to taking care of them. We have our schedules for reading, singing, feeding, playdoh, playing, feeding, napping (yea!), etc. Just like a school day. Right now dh is watching them while I catch up on here.

Dh and dd are home! They had a great time at the canyon and all went well. Nothing happening today but grocery shopping and listening to all the stories of their adventures!

Happy Canada Day

We are going to our village fair grounds this afternoon. They have stuff going on all day for the kids. Tonight we have our fireworks at 10. We never drive into the city for them anymore. Here the kids get to meet/run around with their friends. It's always a fun gathering. They all just woke up, they needed the sleep after the other night. Looks like a hot/sunny day. Have a great day everyone.

Vea, why are you lonely during the week?

Not much on, running errands, cleaning house.

It's justall new....Since Ihaven't found a job yet and dbf is at work all day...I'm here by myself...I try to go out shopping and stuff but it's not much help.

I've said hello to a few people in the building..but haven'treally meet anyone yet...dbf doesn't know anyone and he's lived here for5 years.

I am making cheesecakes this morning. Brichard and I are going to the hangar for movie night. We are watching Citizen Kane. I am looking forward to seeing my mom again. That will make 3 times this week!!

The kids are going to my inlaws at 3. Just 5 more hours!!

I have a 4 day weekend and I really slept in this morning. Getting ready to hit Curves, home to shower out to run errands, home for lunch and then out the door to get my hair done. It's going to be a busy day.

Morning all! Happy Canada Day! I think each kid is heading in a different direction today. Oldest to the fair with friends, middle dd to her friends and ds is going to the festival with my mom and niece. My nephew is here too and will be heading to the "hill" as we locals call it with mom too.

Mom, ds and I had a blast on the train yesterday. We had a dome car, so spent most of our time riding up there. We brought my 9yr old niece back with us last night...it was her first time ever on a train! She looked at my mom once during the evening and said "gramma this is the BEST day of my life!"
Was a long day though, so we all slept in this morning.

Happy Canada Day!

Feels sort of chilly here today - not sure if it's even 70, but I won't complain.

Had a big scare with my 10 month old niece last night - she ended up in the hospital bcuz she had a temp of almost 105 and had a seizure as a result. Turns out she has a UTI. They kept her overnight and I think she's heading home today. Just feel bad for my brother - he was home alone with her and had to call 911 - thought he was going to lose her. Plus earlier this week he had to call 911 bcuz his 5 yr old was choking on a piece of candy. Poor guy has had his share of scares this week!

Quiet day here. Think dh might take dks golfing?

Yeah I just got a call for another interview..As a preschool teacher. I know I'm a chicken going back but to childcare but I just want to get out there again....don't want to sitaround too long.

Hey all! I just got back from the Delaware beach yesterday. It rained most of the time, my ds was a screw loose the whole trip-the call of the ocean was more powerful than listening to your parents , but we had fun!

I came home to a ton of faxes and trying to sort out the business. Looks like eveyone is busy here! Love the idea about the motorcylces Diane!
