    Friday

Slept in till 5:30!!! day off today. DD is limping around, hurt her knee at gymnastics yesterday and is wearing an ace bandage, mainly for the drama! She is having a friend spend the night. tomorrow she is going to Six Flags for Scout day...and this will be the last time cause they are closing the park. DS is supposed to have poker after school and a football game tonite, but he made a bad decision yesterday and I don't think he's going to be doing any of that stuff. It will be interesting to see how he reacts when it truly dawns on him.

Ann, hope dd's knee is really okay underneath all that drama.

Work today, dh is off early so he's either going to bleach the deck and front porch or replace dd's shower hardware.

It's suppose to be a nice/warm day today... the wind died down and the sun is shining. It's suppose to get back up into the upper 70's today. It was SO darn windy/cold yesterday, but at least it wasn't raining.

I've already made the bed, made coffee, and am working on my second load of laundry. I'm invited over to a friends house this morning just to visit. She does dc so it will feel weird being around a group of kids again. It's almost been a month since I quit.

Dd and her bf are taking me out to lunch (Chinese) this afternoon for my birthday. Dh is also taking me out tonight for supper... Ugh, I guess I'll be off my diet for the day. LOL I've also got to get to the grocery store to pick up some goodies to bring to my sisters house because were invited over there on Saturday for a picnic/bon-fire. It looks like it's going to be a busy day today and a busy weekend. I can't remember a summer when our calendar has been so full.

AnnW... Slept IN until 5:30? LOL I hope your dd's knee is feeling better when she wakes up this morning... and that your ds isn't too disappointed when he realizes he's not going to be doing everything he thought he was going to.

LOL we are celebrating here that a cold front came through and it's only going to be a high of 80!!!! the downside to a hurricane is the blistering heat that comes after..been high of 105 since.........

Diane..you are being taken out twice and not having to cook and you are complaining?????????????

DD's knee as fine, but she wore the ace bandage to help her drama! LOL
DS isn't speaking to me, so I think he's got it!

Work today...have a potluck lunch for a part-time co-worker who's been here forever but today is his last day. Then I'm leaving at 2:30 to meet with one of our kitchen quotees and then I'm going to get my hair cut/highlighted (finally, lol).

I'm going with two friends today to a lap book class. If I knew how to explain it I would, but since I don't... here's a link! http://www.geocities.com/gibsevengang/lapbooks.html

We're going to the class and then will galavant around Tucson a bit before coming home. At some point in time today (or in the wee hours of tomorrow) I have to go grocery shopping. The cupboards are bare! Our Walmart is worse than a zoo in the afternoon, evenings and weekends, so early morning is the only time to go. I don't particularly care for getting up at the crack of dawn on a Saturday, but like even less the thought of trying to fight the mob later in the day.

Seems like I'm forgetting something. Hopefully it's not an appointment somewhere!!!

Hope you all have a great day!

Ann, don'tcha just love natural consequences???
Bev, good luck with the quotee!
    Diane, enjoy your day.
Today is a new day and a good day to start anew.

We must have gotten all the rain you guys missed....It was terrencial down pouring as I drove to work.....guess the new med work well, my heart was pounding but I wasn't totally freaking out.

Thank goodness it's friday...my head teacher is out today and monday and these kids have been bouncing off the wall. I may take out the fuse bead just to settle them down...we put them away that's all they wanted to play with.

Got up and went to Curves. Made it home just in time to take a 5 minute shower and get some clothes on before one of the kids got here. She may be the only one I have all day. I won't know for a few hours if the other 2 are coming. One family just moved in their house yesterday and the mom didn't know if she'd bring her today. My other one is always iffy. Dad works a later shift than most parents and sometimes his wife gets off work before dad brings her. They are grea parents who actually enjoy spending time with thier dd.

Having a yard sale in the morning. Can't wait to get rid of some of our junk!

Not sure what's up today. Not off to a good start. Grumpy and the kids were goofing off instead of getting ready for school, I would be surprised if they made it there in time. I think I'm just tired from lack of sleep the other night. Have some stuff to do when my energy is back and mood is better. It's sunny, felt kind of warm so I think ds3 and I are heading out sometime either in the backyard or a park.
    Have a good one all

Well..It has been hugely busy around here today. I was bouncing off the walls from just pure adrenaline. Of course, the brewmaster took it as his opportunity to hide in the cooler before I entered it to get the money out of the safe in there. He jumped out and scared the pee out of me. From that point on, my boss said I had eyes of a wild woman. LOL I guess from this experiment, I either don't have ADHD or stimulants don't work. ROFL

Feel like this day is never-ending. Dd was up from 5-6:30. I stayed up until 7:30 after getting the boys off to school and then went back tp bed. She slept until 9:30 (me too!) so that was a HUGE treat. Dh is at an away game and I met my sister half way tonight to get my nephew for a sleepover. The rest of the family is coming tomorrow and spending the night. I need to clean, but have no energy and just want to crawl into bed.

Ann - How are things with ds tonight? And, congrats on the award at work yesterday.

Amy - LOL at the work pranks!

    Hope you got some rest!

It has been kind of an interesting evening. DS was SUCH the martyr...can't eat the dinner i cooked cause he was grounded, lots of phone calls on his cell phone right in the next room talking about how he can't do anything cause he's grounded!! LOL
BUT, then my closest friend called, her dd, a freshman was grounded too but totally lost it, started callin her mom the f word, the b word ect to the point that the mom brought the 13 year old son and the 6 year old dd here. DS started talking to her, kind of realized that his actions were not great (of course in comparrision he is feeling pretty good) but he kind of had a light bulb moment and realized his actions. so we decide to let the two boys go to the game and then find out that the dd is not home! i make some calls and find out she has conned another mom into taking her to the game so now all hell breaks lose! i get ds on his cell phone and he is trying to reason with this girl. right now, i don't know what is going on............

    puberty sucks!!!
