    another shaving ? to Ann

Does your ds shave yet? Our ds has a slightly dark upper lip, lol. He always tells us his friends are telling him to shave it. I don't think it's at the needs-to-be-shaved stage yet, but he says a lot of his friends are shaving now. Does your ds shave? If so, does he use a razor and cream or an electric razor?

He's been shaving off and on for a couple of years now. Not really thick hair, but coming in dark.

That's the same as our ds. It's not thick, in fact it's like peach fuzz, only it's dark. Does your ds use electric or manual razor. DS says he wants electric, which makes me laugh cause he really has nothing, in my opinion, to even shave.

He uses a regular razor. He's definitely got something to shave, it's just not a all over his face yet, more on the chin and upper lip. It's not everyday, i think he shaves a couple of times a week.

What ages are we talking about here? I remember shaving for the first time in high school. It was a wrestling match and you weren't supposed to have facial hair at the time. All I had was peach fuzz, but the referee made me shave it.

I'm not sure how much I shaved at the time, but it was infrequent. I remember my dad's words on shaving, which was his same advice to me about taking a PT job "Once you start working/shaving, you'll do it the rest of your life."

In regards to razor or electric, I have always had a much closer shave with a razor. I remember wanting to use an electric razor when I was younger, it just seemed like a cooler thing to do. However, to get as close a shave as a blade it would really irritate my skin especially around the neck area.

Well, it sounds like they are both at that age when it starts to happen. Although, I distinctly remember playing an 8th grade football game where the other quarterback had a full beard! I'm not sure if he had been held back or if he just matured fast, but yikes!
