Good Morning...it's Saturday!

Guess you all are sleeping in this morning. Nice day for us today. Ds2's last football game...and then I'm meeting a friend from highschool for lunch. Looking forward to that. I've been cleaning, though. She's never been to my house...and if she wants to stop over, I don't want to be embarrassed. She's not just the "stop over anytime" kind of friend, KWIM??

I slept in till 8:15!!!!!!!!!! not much going on today. DD is going to go the American Girl hour at Barnes and Noble at 11. There is a new restaraunt that opened in our neighborhood, Pei Wei, which is part of PF Changs, and our dinner group & kids are going tonite.

Brichard is off to work so I am on my own to get the rest of the party together for tonight. Dd is cheering at what should be her last game this afternoon. I need to get to the store for extra bbq sauce and to pick up flowers.

I slept in until 8:30, couldn't believe what time it was when I looked at the clock. LOL I hardly ever sleep in that late, but it sure felt good to do so. LOL

Another nice day today. Were going to be raking leaves today. I can't believe how many have fallen already. The kids in the neighborhood are putting on a show at noon. They did this last year too, and although it wasn't all that organized, it was very cute.

I still need to put prices on all my garage sale items and will probably be working on that today. I wanted to have it next Friday, but probably won't because dh has classes and won't be able to take off. I don't even want to attempt doing it while I'm taking care of Sarah so will wait until the following week. Hopefully it won't be too cold by then.

Better get out for my walk before it gets too late. Hope you all have a great day today.

Ann - What's your dinner group?

my group i go out to dinner with
it's 4 couples, we all sat together years ago at a school auction, we all had the best time together (and hadn't really known each other all that well, just happened that our dd's were all the same age, think they were 2nd grade), the guys decided to bid on a fancy dinner for all of us. they didn't get it, but we decided to go to the restaurant anyway. we have been going out at least once a month or every 2 months (just couples since). we added another couple last year. for the last year, we have been going up to the local mex restaraunt on Friday nights with all the kids. (kids sit at one table and we are at another, then they go play tag outside! LOL). this is the same group that came over last Friday night. this new restaraunt is in the same center. AND the best part of it, is if it's necessary, we can all walk home!

morning all, off to a craft show with my girlfriend.....then lunch....need some adult girl time alone....

feeling better, still have some fatigue and slight nasal congestion, but I am almost done with the anitbiotics.

dinner with the famiy tonight, dh rented more movies....

I slept until about 7:30...being lazy today...dbf wen to soccer practice..so I'm vegging.

No plans....still grey here but looks like it finally stopped raining. We were swimming in it yesterday!

It's amazing how much noise our cooler makes and how loud everything is at night with it off!!! It's impossible to sleep in the fall and winter once the kids are out of bed because every noise is magnified x10!

Not sure what is happening today, if anything. May put a batch of chili in the crockpot. Dh didn't take the kids camping last night because it did rain yesterday in spite of Yahoo weather's great forecast. It's Safety Day at our fire station so we may take the kids to that. They really look forward to it each year.

Life is getting quite scandalous in my family. It seems that my SIL has had enough of marriage to my brother, so she wants a divorce. I don't blame her. We are suppose to have a huge get together this afternoon because my other brother and his family are in town. This SIL told my sister that she isn't coming to it and that she didn't want to promote a lie anymore. I get a call from my Mom saying that everyone is going to be there and that my brother just got an interview to be on "Who wants to be a millionaire" game show??!! So is SIL coming today or not...Did she have a change of heart because of the game show and the possibilities?.....Is my family just plain crazy....stay tuned for future episodes of As my Stomach Churns !! ROFL

Good thinkin'. Pei Wei restaurants around here typically are pretty crowded - and those have been open for a while.
