For the last 3 days.....It's been snowing, sleeting and bitterly cold.

    Right now it's 52 degrees out :0

That's just nuts...we have'nt been able to get into the cars because the doors have all been frozen....weird.....just had to babble.

We've had above average temperatures (in the upper 30's) pretty much all winter. We had a snow storm on Monday, and it took Dawn a little over 3-1/2 hours to get home from work. (when it would normally only take her 45 minutes) She was a complete wreck by the time she finally made it home. It's only 16 this morning but not windy so it doesn't really feel that cold. It's suppose to warm up again by the end of the week.

We actually have people walking around in their shorts when it's up to 40 degrees. LOL not considered brrrrrrrrrr at all.

The weather this whole winter has been uncharacteristically warmer. We live in the 'Snow Belt" area of southern ontario and have had very little snow. dh decided to put a rink in the back yard for the kids but there have been very few days that it has actually been frozen enough to skate on. We have had a few good snowfalls but they usually melt away again in a few days. Just enough that the ground looks white. Really depressing for the kids. Not enough to sleigh ride, or make snowforts/snowmen etc. They have taken to building stawforts in the hayloft instead.
Other than the kids disappointment...... I'm lovin' it. I could take winter like this all the time. I still prefer summer, but this is bearable.

It's suppose to get to the upper 40's... maybe 50 tomorrow. Can't wait... I saw someone wearing shorts tonight and it was only 37.
