Could you say a prayer for Sarah?

Dawn and James just called to let us know that they are taking Sarah to the ER. They're thinking that she might have another blockage... she's been backed up and having a hard time with her bowel movements. She's been going through this for a few day's now and Dawn decided she better get her in to get looked at. (she's probably dehydrated too because she's not keeping anything down) She didn't look too good when I stopped over there this morning and she kept wanting to rock in her rocking chair. (which is a good indication that she's not feeling well because that's what she does when she's not feeling well) There may be other issues... won't go into detail right now, but if you could please say a prayer for her we'd really appreciate it. Thanks!!

    Diane...

Thanks Renee... I'm sitting here on pins and needles. I know we probably won't be hearing anything for a while yet, but it already seems like forever. I feel so bad for Sarah, she's already been through so much for such a little girl. She's such a sweetie, never cries or complains no matter how sick/tired she is... doesn't ask or expect anything, just her rocking chair so she can rock. I feel so helpless... as I'm sure does Dawn/James. They too have been through so much. Sorry for rambling... I'm going to try to go to bed and get some sleep... but I doubt if I'll get any until I hear something. Thanks for such a speedy rsponse.

Could this be from eating more/better and her little system just isn't up to the change?

    Hope she feels better soon!

Bless her heart, Diane. I'm praying that she feels better quickly. What Darlene said makes sense to me, too.

No... as far as I know it doesn't. She's had blockages before (they haven't lasted this long though) even when she wasn't eating well. I wish I'd hear something... I can't tell you how hard it is to sit here waiting for the phone to ring. Ugh... Thanks everyone for all the prayers.

She's fine, no blockages. She is backed up so Dawn's got to give her an enema tomorrow morning. They've been thinking that she's got some problems with her kidney's, (keytone was found in her urine) which indicated that there was a problem. Well... tonight when they tested for a blockage they tested her urine again and there wasn't any evidence of keytone. In case I'm not explaining this right... (just heard about this myself) here's a link.

Anyway... they're sending her back home and hopefully she'll start feeling better. THANK YOU ALL so much for all your thoughts and prayers. I can't tell you all how much I appreciated them.

YES!!! That's wonderful news on both points, Diane. I hope everyone can rest at ease tonight.

Oh Diane! That's great news! I know it's hard to see your little ones (children or g'children) hurting or ill.
Are you going to go see her today? Hugs to her, Dawn and James.... bless their hearts.

Good news....Maybe they might want to talk to a nutritionist....to find out what's the best way for her to eat.

I know I've had stomach problems forever and If I eat to much "normal food" like restaurant food or veggies...I end up having to do a liquid diet for a day or so.....probably because I don't drink enough water.

Also be careful....a lot of what they call fiber foods are also binding. Like Bananas.

    Good news anyway.!!!!!!!!!!!
