Starting a new temp job with pediatrics again today. Yikes! Haven't worked with kids in over a year. Hope it goes well - this is Baylor and I would love to have a good connection with this group.

I had the worst nights sleep my back is killing me and I woke up out of a nightmare....can't remember it really but can't shake the feeling...ugh!!

Nothing today except straightening up and work.

Dd #1 is a pediatric nurse and just loves working with the kids.

It's usually the parents who are so hard to deal with. LOL Good luck... I'm sure you'll do just fine.

Treadmill/exercise today... laundry. If I have the time I'm going to take a quick trip to the grocery store I like/enjoy shopping at, and I'll take my mom to her (Cub) grocery store tomorrow. LOL Actually I like going to both anyway. What one doesn't have... the other one usually does.

Each place usually has some pretty good coupon items... so usually hit both stores.

First day of spring...

You wouldn't know it by looking outside and seeing all this snow we have. It's been nice enough for it to melt, and we've already lost quite a bit of it. Can't wait for it to be all gone again... I hate all this wet/slushy mud.

Dh and I are dragging fil downtown this morning so we can all get our TB tests! (fil doesn't know yet, lol) Mom and I will head back downtown this afternoon for our knitting group, then I'll go back down later for my night out.

Guess I'll be in the car a lot today, LOL! I'd really like to go to the Wal-mart a half hour away and get some yarn (they have a much better selection), but that may not happen.

Good morning!! Dd is all healed up and I called her dr. to let them know she had the pox. The nurse said they are thinking about doing a pox booster shot since 20-30% of kids who get the immunization get the pox anyway. Not something I'll have to worry about, lol!

We are expecting 6-10 inches of snow

tonight, happy first day of spring!! lol I am going to Walmart for milk, eggs, bread. Not because I'm afraid we'll be snowbound, just because I need them.

No other plans today... have a great day all!

Good morning! Have the day off. Just taking it easy this morning, then this afternoon a sister and I are going to my Dad's home to meet with the doctor. This is a care conference that is supposed to take place 6 weeks after he's been there, but it's been moved and postponed and now finally taking place today. I can't expect we'll get much out of it. Dad likes it there and that's all that matters at this point, lol.

We're trying to dig out from a heap of snow. I don't even know how much they are officially saying we already have. I would guess 8 to 10 inches. The worst of it isn't even here yet. We could get 2 inches an hour this afternoon. The radio is saying 10 to 15 inches more, but I wonder if that's not supposed to be the whole total.

Dh and I went in yesterday and cleared the preschool driveway. My assistant is working today. We finally made it in to clear the driveway again this morning but came right back home before our road drifted shut again. Good thing it didn't take any longer than it did. The gravel roads to our house were very drifted. We've already decided to close for tomorrow. Everyone that would be coming is either not going to work or has back up care. Probably should have closed today too.

Called the stupid radio station last night to cancel preschool classes and they didn't announce it!! URGH!!! Luckily all my preschoolers for today know that if school's closed, we don't have preschool.

So, not sure what I'm going to do today. Dh is clearing our driveway here and then he'll probably be in to watch the Nascar race (Golden Corral or something like that, that was rain delayed yesterday)

Maybe I'll go take a nap. Maybe make something in the kitchen, just not sure what.

I am very jealous of all of you that have spring like weather! NO Fair!! LOL

So I get dd#2 ready, put gas in the car, go into the grocery store and she is just not acting right. She didn't want the freebie sucker, no balloon. I only need like 10 items and after I get 6 of them into the cart she throws up and for an added bonus, diarrea at the same time. So I'm back home with no groceries, another load in the washer, showered dd and myself and now waiting for the doctor's office to open after lunch to see if they want to see her. Just another day in paradise

I started a Monday post..where did it go???
i have been up since 1:30 am! woke up and just couldn't go back to sleep! worked till noon. ds is having a bad day, we had to cancel school.
