The cat woke me up at 5 this morning. UGH! I tried taking a nap, but it didn't work. Ran a few errands this morning. Rented Cheaper by the Dozen 2 and Nanny McPhee. it's looking like tonight will be family movie night. I need to finish up with the laundry and maybe clean up the computer room. I just shove stuff in here and it's a mess. That my day...

I got up with dh to see him off to work, and then I came back to bed. I decided to check in here before I layed back down. I am hoping I can get my mom to go to Walmart with me today, so I can get Melvin some dogfood. He is almost out, and I can't pick it up. Dh can't go with me because he is working. We also have tax free week here to get ready for hurricanes, and I need to pick up some supplies for that. Dogfood is on that list as well. I need to continue to work on the laundry, and keep tidying the house, but other than that, that is all I have planned for today.

I did not sleep well at all!! I'm fighting off a cold, and I clearly lost last night's round. But it's a long weekend, so I ought to be able to catch up on rest. I'm taking on the weeds in my flower beds today. Last month I reassigned a pretty big garden area to grass. It is right next to the kids basketball hoop and was getting stepped on. And I hated the juniper bushes! But there is a whole lot of garden left. (Note to self...if you ever think of relocating, choose a nice house by the magnificant gardens of the new NEIGHBORS! Gardening is a ton of work, but it is nice to have the view.)
Dinner with dh's parents and some of his visiting relatives. That'll be nice. And the big thrill this weekend.......... choosing paint for the hallways and living room. We've got to whip this place into shape. Graduation is in 4 weeks!!!

Hope you all have productive and pleasant Saturdays......except JAK (who's fast headed toward Sunday!) I hope you get some sleep!

Leigh - Could you get someone at Walmart to put the food in your cart and then put it in your car? Then your dh can get it out when he gets home. Of course it's probably more fun to have your mom go shopping with you!

Ds and I are off today with my brother and his family. I have a nephew who is graduating high school today. Brichard and his brother are staying home with the girls. I'm looking forward to seeing and spending a little time with my mom.

I slept till 7:30!!!!!! (and went to bed before 11). This place last night was really cool. The kids had a ball. It was such a nice night too. We are going to rent out the place for one of the couples who is moving to have a going away party for. It's great cause all the invitees can place their orders for food too.
I have to clean house today..you can write in the dust! DD wants to go swimming at my dad's (she's invited cause they are out of town )

Didn't climb out of bed until almost 8:00... Another nice/sunny day today. Can't wait to get out into the yard. I want to get a LOT done this weekend so hopefully the weather will continue to cooperate. I think were going to Gertains today to look at/buy all my flowers/plants... I'm really running behind this year. I may go to Home Depot first by myself to see what they have. Dd #2 said they're having a big sale on hanging baskets and seeing I need about 30 of them, will buy them wherever they're the cheapest.

Got laundry to do that I didn't get done yesterday. Gotta get so SAM'S some time today to get some coffee... besides that I have no big plans. Hope you all have a great day!!

I probably could get someone to load it for me in the store, but I am not sure they would load it for me outside the store. Our Walmart is getting pretty crappy because they do not have any competition. Their customer service is lacking, they don't price anything anymore, and when you try to use the scanner thingys, they don't work. There are never enough cashiers. It is getting bad. I keep hoping a Target will come in, so maybe they will straighten up. And I do enjoy going shopping with my mom. LOL!

Not much planned here....dbf finally signed up for digital cable/phone...so they are coming between 1-3....so I'm getting my comp time in now....LOL.

Nothing else planned..think some clean and picking up some things at the store.

Woke up at 8:00 am....got a quick 30 walk in on the tredmill.....as I get off the darn thing, sweating like a PIG, my cell phone rings....boss is in Tuscon, and can't figure out how to check in online......some people....I am in the living room and I have to get my butt up and straighten out the house and clean my kitchen, DS's friend is going to be here at 11:00 argh...

Its DH's Birthday....he is still snoozing I don't know how with all the phone calls we have had to day....argh....guess I should get my rear in gear....

DD is begging for a new american girl outfit for her doll for thier birthday...lol..

I slept till 7:30 this morning! That seems to be my "norm" wake up time anymore, which is really inconvenient, lol! It makes life easier when I can get up before the kids and get things done.

We're going to an open house for just a bit this morning and then dropping some things off at a friend's house. I think this afternoon should be quiet with no plans.

Just got back from the lake with dks. Ds 2 caught a million fish and was so excited. Fun day and looking forward to another tomorrow.
