1st house was a 4 bed/2 baths rambler, single garage, walkout basement - lived there almost 6 yrs. Moved to this house in '01 - 2 story, 4 bed/3 baths, triple garage on an acre about 4 miles out of town in a development with about 15 other houses. Love our location and can't imagine being back in town. Also love our house, but of course have some dream plans for down the road. I would love to add on!

Hey, good for you, that is awesome!! Just took me by surprise it was early in your relationship.
You absolutely exude love and adoration when you speak of him. How lucky.

    ME, ME!!! I haven't.

How many places have you lived in since you got married?
I think I'm on house #7 in 14 years of marriage. We hope to get some place good when we leave here and then we'll finally buy. We want our own house so bad!!

How many years have you lived in your house?
    about 3 months

When looking for a home, were there certain things you were looking for? (Fireplace, # of bedrooms... Location?)
    what I can afford, location

What turned you off from some of the homes you looked at?
we've been lucky in the houses we rented and liked the first ones we saw, base housing usually sucks, but at least it's free!

What was the deciding factor in choosing the house you chose?
    cost

Any place other than CA maybe. When we got there in 2004 crappy houses were well over $300,000 in Northern CA. They are WAY more in Southern CA.
