I will eat yogurt occasionally and I only eat cheese if it is melted on something.

Occasionally.... I am just not a big milk product person. I think I was the only little child who didn't like ice cream. I have only begun to eat it as an adult.

I don't care much for ice cream either. My kids (especially dd1) think I'm crazy!
Today is a new day and a good day to start anew.

How do you people survive on so little fruit & Veg? my family eats 3 veges with dinner every night, more if we have salad, and they take fruit to school each day as well as having fruit with their cereal for breakfast. If I am low on cash I cut out the meat not the veges.

I try to do the same as you, Di. Frozen veggies and canned veggies go on sale a lot. I can't say that we have 3 veggies a day but I try to have at least one...even with spaghetti I like to serve a salad.

I have a rule with my kids' lunches...you have to take a fruit and/or veggie in your lunch if you want something like Chex mix, pretzels or Doritos. They take yogurt stix, pudding and other things like that, too.

The hardest part of low carbing when I was doing it was cutting out the fruit. I LOVE it.

My kids are limited on the fruits they'll eat. Both younger boys will eat apples, Dominic likes bananas, and they both like grapes. My daughter loves apples, oranges and grapes. As for veggies, I think the salads are my best bet.
