    Sunday

Slept in until 7:30. Now I'm just messing around on here. Need to get my house back in some sort of order. Last weekend we were gone so much we didn't really do much around the house. so today is the day to whip it back into shape. Germany won last night! I could literally her the roar of people cheering out my windows each time they scored (it was 3-1). After the game then you could hear car honking their horns. Tonight's the final match, so we'll watch that.

I am up and can't sleep...ARG!!! I can already tell a nap is in the plans for today. I need to hang up some laundry too. I have it washed and dried, I just didn't fold it and put it away. That is definitely my weakness. Dh has to work on school work, and I might look for some more first day of school activities while he is doing that.

The birthday party was fun last night, but I ate WAY to much. I guess dh had fun at his party too. I haven't gotten too much out of him yet.

I hope everyone has a wonderful day!!!

Good morning! I've totally trashed my house. Since being home from vacation, I've just dumped and run. Laundry has to be dumped out of suitcases and started.
I also have to work 12-5 today.
Not looking like the most wonderful day by my smilies, huh?

Jen, cool about the soccer fans!
Leigh, take it easy today and catch up on your sleep.

I'm up....got woken up by a group of crows (I think) aguing in the front yard....Who would think on Long Island ..where there are very few trees...you'd have that.

Have no clue what the game plan is today....didn't get to see any of my friends yesterday! Don't ask! I'm annoyed.

So I'm planning to spend the day with my sister and we'll see what happens.
    Enjoy Today

We just finished breakfast and I need to get lunch packed up to take to the park today. That's all on our agenda today.

Leigh - maybe you didn't sleep well because you ate such a big meal last night? I always had to eat lots of little meals once I started to "grow."

I think that is probably part of the problem. I ate so much too that I had heartburn. The heartburn was gone by the time I went to bed, but I still felt too full, so I am sure that is probably why I had trouble sleeping. Eating like that isn't something that I do daily, so I don't worry about it happening too often, but it was SO good!

Good (late) morning. Spent Friday after work helping dh move dirt and getting our landscaping started around the addition. Sure is looking better. I can't wait to start really fixing it up and looking like something. He and I walked down to Italianfest Friday night after dropping ds and his friends off at the all-ages downtown. Saturday we drove to Toronto for some of their streetfest activities. Didn't do/see a whole lot, but did lots of walking, lol. We shopped a bit in the mall we parked the car at (took the subway downtown) and dh got new running shoes, ds got 2 new pairs of shorts. I picked up some black capris, and I broke down and bought a pair of Crocs (got black). I put them on right away and wore them the rest of the day and man, they were great. Glad I caved

DH has me in a pissy mood this a.m. Got up at 10:00, had my shower and dried my hair (even put my make-up on). Get into the kitchen at 10:30 and he's all in panic cause he's got to go get gas and pick up his friend for baseball. Ummm, baseball isn't until 12:00. It's a 20 minute drive to the town he plays in. I'm sure he's got plenty of time. I was going to go with him today too. Well, I'm not going without eating something for breakfast, but I'm not going to make him "wait around" for me. So he left and I'm sitting home, dressed for the day and no where to go, lol. Sometimes it really irks me how damned early he always has to leave. This is a man who starts work at 7:00 a.m. every day, yet leaves the house by 5:45! I can WALK to his work in 8 minutes!!!

Bev, please have your dh call mine. He runs late for everything and I have to nag at everyone here to 'hurry up'. lol Fil is always way early though, hope soon it rubs off around here.
Fil and his wife showed up before church this am, they had already gone last night but she came with us anyhow. All went to breakfast after and dh and fil went to deliver some cupboards fil made for someone. His wife and I took the kids to the flea market. I did manage to find 7 books on my wish list. Came home and they left (fil is always in a hurry to get back home so he can get back to being retired lol).
I have to run for odds and ends at grocery store and not sure what's up the rest of the day. Dh is now sick with a nasty cold/aches and pains. Not sure who is worse at being sick, him or kids.
Hope you all have a good day

    :

My dh's just the opposite. If he's got to be somewhere by 10:00 he's probably leaving the house at 9:55. LOL I'm the one who usually always likes to leave early... hate being late.
