    Dinner 7-21-06

I have a london broil thawing, going to grill it with some grillmates, with Corn on the cob and a tossed salad.

I really have no clue. I fixed dh spaghetti for lunch, so he might eat that as a leftover. I am not sure what I would fix myself if he had that, or we might just have a whole new meal.... who knows

I took sausage out of the freezer on (I think) Tuesday. We were going to eat them Wed., but then volleyball and ds's guitar and taking the car to the shop interfered with cooking them. Will they still be good to eat tonight?

We had pork chops, buttered noodles, and black-eyed peas. Nothing fancy.

Bev, I would cook them up without waiting another day but I could be wrong too. They were frozen first on Tues? I really don't know but am sure I have done the same thing at one point.

Dh was with Fil installing cupboards Fil made for someone so they ate out. Kids were starving by 4 so took them to McDonalds on the way home. I had a few chicken wings we got at Costco when we got home. Starting to feel a bit hungry, have some individual lasagna in the freezer that wouldn't take long but not sure I am that hungry. Maybe I will only have popcorn. lol How bad is that!

What exactly is london broil? Is that like a brisket? I've heard of it but don't think I have ever had it. Always sounds good, just by the name though.

Dh wound up with the leftover spaghetti, and I wound up with a hodge podge of different things trying to get all my exchanges in.

Dh and I ended up going out to eat at Don Pablo's. Neither of us were that hungry and ended up bringing over half of it home in a doggie bag... so that will probably be what we have for lunch tomorrow.

London broil is actually a method of cooking a flank steak, but it has become such a popular term that you will see flank steak labeled as london broil.
London broil is 'officially' marinated flank steak that is grilled and then cut against the grain to keep it from being tough.

    Ok. Thanks.

Bev, Dh loves that dish, so do I. I made that when my brother and sil were here. She couldn't get enough of it. lol
