    Saturday

I was fast asleep by 9:00 last night! DD is feeling so much better, she was bouncing off the walls! Kept nagging me to call the director to see if she could be in the show today. I told her she needed to have not vomited for 24 hours before I called. I woke up to a note from here saying 'i didn't throw up once since this morning, and i ate and everything!' LOL I will see what she says when I wake her up, and then see if I can call the director.
I am off to do something fun this am. Macy's is having a private fashion show/beauty event this am before the store opens. It cost $15, I bought it a few weeks ago thinking it would be fun..didn't know how much I would need to do something for myself at the time! LOL
rest of the day will be either taking dd to the show or placating dd for not being in the show. dh and i are meeting some friends for dinner tonite.

All of dks were up before 7. They really need to figure out the glory of sleeping in on the wknds. We have hockey tickets for tonight - I want to skip and let ds1 bring a friend along. Ds2 wants to go to my mom's - not sure about that yet - then we'd have 2 free tickets. I want to get to Old Navy and TJ Maxx today.....after my morning nap, of course, so I am energized for shopping.

Ann - So glad your dd is feeling better and hope they let her be in the show!! Have fun at the Macy's event!!

Looks like it's going to be another cool day... but at least the sun is shining. Got up early to put my meatballs for Sarah's party in the crockpot. They were a big hit at my mom's birthday party, so was asked to bring them again. Dawn's making her chili, along with a few other things. Am looking forward to seeing/visiting with James' side of the family. Actually... I'm hoping James is feeling 100%, and she doesn't decide to cancel it. I don't have a clue what I'd do with all these meatballs.

Dh will probably do some yardwork while I catch up on the laundry that I didn't get done yesterday. Dawn was happy when she came and picked Sarah up yesterday when I told her that her house was all clean/picked up. Except for their room, she didn't have to worry about getting that done today before company. It wasn't bad to begin with, but sometimes she frets over some of the littlest things. LOL

Going to try to get to SAM's today, and if we don't... tomorrow. Not much else on the agenda.

Ann... I'm glad dd is feeling much better and that they'll let her back in the show.
Karla... Hope you get you're nap and feel energized enough to go shopping. LOL

Hope you all have a great Saturday!

Getting towards the end of the day here. Both kids have friends spending the night so they are quite. Taking all the kids to the movie tomorrow to see "Flushed Away".

Stopping at the memoria park in our town for moment of silence and some of the ceromony before taking ds1 to his basketball game. I'm sure we won't get to stay long but at least a little bit. Then home for his friends to come over. While I have them at the show dh is taking ds3 and maybe ds2 to my nephews b-day party. It's skating and then to his house. I'm thinking ds2 would rather go there than go to the show, he's not a fan of pirates and that's what the kids want to see. I started a new book last night but zonked during the acknowledgments. lol I have been waiting to start the series of Clan of the Cave Bear and now that I have all the books I can start.
Hope you all have a great day. Ann, hope dd gets to be back in the show. Diane, have fun at the party. Karla, enjoy the game.

Ds2 really wants to see that. I haven't seen any commercials for it. Let us know what you think of it?

Flushed Away was quirky as heck. The movie itself was okay, but they had a lot of stupid adult humor in it that had dh and I chuckling. They had slugs that just broke out in song during a pivitol moment or a mime frog during a fight scene.

I read our local newspaper and saw an ad for my position at my old job. ROFL It seems my replacement had some issues with the boss and his stupid processes. I talked to Marco and he filled me in. Oh, how happy I am for not being there anymore! LOL

I think we are going to a fun center today that has skating, rock climbing and laser tag. It is dreary outside, so it might be fun to try something different.

Ann-Hope dd can perform today and have fun by yourself!
Renee-I do a lot of my shopping over the internet! I just love getting exactly what I want delivered right to my door.

Dh and dd2 just went to work on an electrical project dh is doing for some friends. Dd2 is my love to go go go and it doesn't much matter where or what, lol. She'll be crawling under the house with dh. Not my cuppa tea!

Ds1 is at math with mil, dd1 is working on her novel and ds2 is "going fishing" with his new game. I'm sitting here trying to figure out where to start w/decluttering the house. It's beyond awful and I'm hating it!!! Even flylady isn't helping me this time. Someone once suggested that you start at your front door and work clockwise around your house. Hmmm... maybe that'll at least get me started.

Hope you all have a great day.

Bev, I hope your dad is back home soon!
Today is a new day and a good day to start anew.

Oh... that's too funny! She didn't last very long... did she. I'll bet they're wishing they had you back again, you really put up with a lot of sh!t from them! Actually... I'm almost surprised they didn't call you and ask you if you wanted your old job back... with a nice big fat raise? LOL It will be interesting to see how long it takes them to fill the position... and when they do, how long the new gal will stay there. Some people are just plain too hard to work with/for.
