    Sunday?

Well we are up early after being out late, dh took us to dinner at the Macaroni Grill it was great. ds is playing the x-box, dh went for coffee and dd is stil snoozing in her new bed. I broke down and got both kids new sheets yesterday too, 300 thread count they were on sale for $19.99...really soft...DD looks like an angel right now....

Ds has bb practice and dh promised to get the floors done.....lazy day for us. I love sundays, I found the car I want and now I need to sell the van, I won't get much for a trade in so selling it privately is the only way....dh cleaned it up and got signs now its ready to get out there and be seen....

Ds had a friend over last night and his mom will be here shortly to pick him up. I am working on laundry and want to get some stuff listed on Ebay later. Also need to get a plan to get ds2 home from my mom's. I'm not too excited about the thought of driving back there. Vehicle sounds like a spaceship with the front bumper/grill missing.

Renee - I love Macaroni Grill!!! My kids call it "The place where you can draw on the table." LOL Hope your van sells quickly!!!

Survived the sleep over last night. The kids were up early and we went to the movie. I thought it was OK (I wouldn't want to watch it again), but all 4 kids like it. Still have a bit more laundry to do.

Renee- What car did you decide on? Never been to Macaroni Grill, but we are getting one soon.

Karla- tell you mom to bring him home!

It's cold and been raining like cats and dogs all day - should be a good day to get the house clean and laundry done.
We did church and dd and dh are riding home with his parents to pick up one of their cars to borrow til we figure out what's wrong with ours.

Renee, what kind of beds did you get for the kids?

Slept in a little later this morning... decided it was too late to go out for breakfast, so stayed home. I had to throw in a load of whites... dh informed me he was running out of underwear. He still had two pairs left... but for some reason didn't "like" those. LOL Men...

We had a lot of fun at Sarah's birthday party last night. James' mom/dad were there... had four of their grandkids with them when they came. I felt so sorry for James' mom, she looked exhausted. All the kids were suppose to be brought back home from Dawn/James' house by their parents... one set came and the other called with an excuse, so grandma/pa ended up having to keep them for another night. I don't think they minded having the kids... but I think they were tired and looking forward to the break. I felt kind of sorry for her.

Sarah got a lot of nice gifts... had a lot of fun. Ate real well. It's so good to see her eating like a normal child. She probably doesn't eat AS much as a kid her age should be eating... but hey, she's eating. LOL

Not much planned for the day. I've got to get at my house... it's starting to look like a pit, which is unusual for my house, so gotta get going on that. I've got Sarah every day but Wednesday next week, but I have my mom on that day, so need to get going and get it done while I can. I'm feeling the need to get out of the house today... don't know where because I really don't NEED anything... just feel like getting out of the house. Feeling kind of down today... not sure why.

Anyway... hope you all have a great day.

Diane, I was like that the other day, needing to get out. I really wanted to go shopping but there was nothing we needed and knew I would buy something stupid. lol Was hard for this shopaholic to stay in that day! Glad the party went well and so great that Sarah is eating well!
Ds's party went well, wound up seeing Stranger Than Fiction with Will Farrell because Pirate's of the Carribean wasn't on anymore. Kids liked it, thought it was funny. It had its moments but I found some parts to be dry. Not my choice to pick for watching at the theatre but there wasn't much else for them to see since one kid didn't like any of the Santa movies with Tim Allen. I would have prefered it. lol
Took them all to church this am, only 2 kids slept over. One is still here, not sure for how long but I don't mind. I like this kid and he fits in so well here.
Need to take a run to the grocery store later for something to make for dinner. Going to start on my book for a while this after noon and relax.
Hope you all have a good Sunday.

I'm glad your ds's birthday party went well... too bad the movie wasn't a better one and that the other kid didn't want to see any of the Santa ones. I myself would just love to see the new one with Tim Allen that just came out. I'm in the mood to watch something funny.

Hope you get to the grocery store.

Y'all need to sit down to hear about my day!

I perused the internet forever trying to find a beginner keyboard song book for dd that was a little more than twinkle twinkle little star. Then we went to a couple of towns over and checked out the brand new Super Walmart. Woo Hoo!! LOL

I am freakin' exhausted! My mom came this weekend to Christmas shop. She's almost done now, and I found a few nice things, but OMG I'm so glad it's Sunday night! I ran a 5K Saturday morning, too. Ds's football team made it to the playoffs, which is cool especially since he's a senior, but the schedule is insane. They've got games scheduled on THANKSGIVING DAY!! I'm sorry but we'll be in the Bahamas - they'll have to play without him. Then whoever makes it all the way has to play on December 23rd. Forget about holidays with your family, this is Texas and we've got football to play .

Oh, and get this - this Friday my son is playing at Texas Stadium!!

THANKSGIVING DAY? That's insane!!! I'm sure your ds won't be the only one not there playing. I can't believe they'd schedule anything on that day.
