Christmas Eve and Christmas Day Meals?

So what do you make/eat on Christmas Eve, and Christmas day?

We usually do Italian for Christmas Eve.....old school.
DH always makes stuffed grape leave on Christmas eve for Christmas day too...
I am leaning toward Roast Beef for Christmas day this year. Mashed potatoes, rolls and butter, peas, gotta think and make my list....

Care to share what your eating?

We have 3 traditional Christmas meals.
Christmas dinner with the inlaws. I cook it all. Ceaser salad, beef tender, spinach, & mashed potatoes.
Christmas Eve is always Texas style..tamales and chili. But this year, because we are coming in from out of town and want to go to church, we are having that great traditional dinner of Popeye's Fried Chicken!
Christmas day we do the whole turkey, dressing, stuffing and all the rest.

We're at the mercy of what everyone else fixes. lol We're never at home between those two days for dinner.

no we go all over town here! lol
both families are in town so it's step sister's for dinner after church Christmas Eve and we're usually at mil's by late afternoon on Christmas Day.

I didn't really want to do xmas eve dinner @ stepsister's but considering I have to work most all of xmas eve, there wouldn't be any dinner fixed here! lol

Christmas Eve is when we have our "junk food" supper (chips/dips/cheese/crackers/sausages/sometimes pizza/etc.)

Christmas Day we are having spiral sliced ham, potatoes, beans, salad, rolls and butter. Yum.

Just a this and that sort of a thing on Christmas Eve... Actually on Saturday when all the girls/dh's and Sarah are coming over to celebrate. Dh and I will be home all by ourselves on Chrismas Eve, hopefully sitting and relaxing. I'm going to pick up a pizza, chicken wings, cheese sticks... I'm also going to have a meat/cheese try for some sandwiches. I'm not going way out... just some things that are quick and easy.

Same here - no traditional meal, just what everyone else fixes. This year the boys are with their Dad, so dh and I are going to California for Christmas. I heard something about Mexican food on Christmas day. We'll see.

That's true....but nobody in my family ate fish except shell fish....sometimes my dad would do lobster Christmas eve and Italian as an first course on xmas day then then either fresh ham or prime rib. Think He saved money all year for those 2 days.

Our Christmas eve is sort of the whatever kind too. Cheese, crackers, pickles, veggies/dip, chips/dip, cold meats. My mom never cooked that night and always had desserts/tarts out as well. I know I can't put out the cookies or anything at the same time or ds3 will only want to eat that. lol I make chicken wings and maybe bagel bites (tiny two bite pizzas) and cheese strings where you need to bake them.
Christmas day is always turkey, stuffing and all the rest to go with it. Mil, my mom and sil's all do the same. This year I'm doing the turkey here and dh's sister and dh and their two kids are coming here for dinner. I prefer not to go anywhere at all Christmas Eve or Day so this all works out perfect for us this year.

When we were back East it used to amaze me how much Italian food was made Christmas eve, fried egglant parm. Meatballs, sausage, pasta, sauce, calimari, salads, breads and olive oil/balsamic lasagnas and baked manicott....

since we are just the four of us...we do spagetti and meatballs...garlic bread....
Not a bit fish eater myself, neither are the kids....

Christmas Eve we just eat finger foods and munch the entire day.

Christmas Day...we have the traditional turkey with all the trimmings, if we've been invited out somewhere (usually my sister or BIL's wife invites us), but this year we haven't been invited anywhere, lol. So I'm just making chicken.

Boxing day we are going to the home where Dad lives...we've booked the kitchen and we're having dinner with Dad there. I'm taking the roast beef and ham and my sister is doing the veggies. A cousin is coming and she's bringing dessert.
