What am I doing up at this hour....oh yeah my back woke me up. Took some Motrin and in a minute gonna lay back down....I'm so tempted to call the on call Dr. see if they'll call in a pain pill....but I don't want to start that again...been addocted before cause I sleep so well with them.

Anyway not much planned....may go get a larger heat pack, The one I have is a neck one that you micro wave.

any way won't be on much I think....sitting is a pain....better moving around.

We had a blast out with friends last night. Dh has gone to Sunday school and will pick up dd from the b'day party/sleepover on his way home. I have laundry to finish and she has a science project to finish. Whoopie!

dh and I woke up early to get some alone time...

The kids need to be woken up and showered...DD final BB game is today they make a huge deal out of it...announcers call each child and their number, the walk through a balloon arch...its really a big deal to make it to the final game in your division. Then the awards lunch/party...then at 4:00 DS's team is having their bbq awards party, which in my opinion since they played their last game last weekend, should have been last weekend....so busy day for all of us...

Ann and Bev I too and curious about your dinner parties...I am sure they were HUGE successes..

I'm staying home with the ds's today. Both of them were running a temp yesterday and ds2 has another ear infection. We didn't get to go to C.E. Cheese's yesterday for ds1's bday (thanks for the happy bday wishes for him!) so we're going Wednesday afternoon when he has early release. The boys laying around watching tv and are really quiet. Ds2 has been sitting on dh's lap for quite a while which is a rarity. Dh should be getting ready for church, but is lovin' it, lol! I'm feeling some better, but not totally. I'm hoping to get stuff done around the house today in small chunks of time. I figure it won't be over doing it to work for ten minutes at a time and then rest for ten. No plans for the afternoon.

Vea, I hope your back feels better. Would a round or two of physical therapy help?

Jen, I'm with you on the laundry thing. Yuck.

I didn't wake up till 9:30! LOL and it wasn't even a late night.
it was great fun! everything was a big hit. i could tell i forgot to put something in the shrimp and it wasn't till i talked to my dad this am that i realized it was tobasco, but no one else would have noticed. they really woofed the dips down! LOL the nice thing about this shrimp dish is that it takes a while to eat (cause you are peeling the shrimp) and it makes for a nice slow leisurely meal that isn't over in a flash. dessert went over well too.

dd is going to a friend's house and a movie this afternoon. i am going to be alternating between cleaning up the kitchen and being a slug! LOL

Ds woke up with 102 temp this morning. Brichard went to church this morning, I went last night. Brichard flies out tomorrow so I need to get to the grocery today in case ds's fever doesn't break and I can't get out on Monday.

Dd just got a call from one of dd's of the couple we had dinner with last night. She asked dd to spend the night tonight. Two nights home alone for us! How unusual!

Good afternoon. Slept late. Went to bed @ 1:00. Cleaned up the dishes and have laundry started. Just need to get the LR/mud room floor cleaned up and I'm all set to spend the day lazing. Dinner was nice last night and was well received.

Got up and went to Perkin's with some friends this morning... back home. Dh's reading the paper before getting back into the bathroom. I'm hoping we'll have the shower in by the end of the day... It's actually starting to look like a bathroom. LOL It will be nice when it's all done.

I've got some pictures to download from our camera and send to Shelly... she's anxious to see them. I think the red crenolin looks so nice against her white dress, just enough color.

Good tv again tonight. Other than that... nothing much. Hope you all have a great day!
