    Who are you posting to?
If it's me... we did our normal/regular Wednesday night routine. My mom never offered to let us go on our own to celebrate Valentines day, which in a way I can understand because she needed to pick her meds up at Target. We would have gladly picked them up for her and dropped them off at her house for her. We did exchange cards (I also got him a box of "good" chocolate candies) and dh's taking me out to Timber Lodge tonight.

Dh sent me flowers. He has always done that for Valentines and for our anniversary. He always gets me a corsage for Mother's Day too. I love getting flowers! I can always use the containers in my arrangements that I put out seasonally.

It's kind of a pain the way it's set up now, but once you've done it a bit you get the hang of it. I like the old txt messaging!

I kind of wish I did... dd is constantly sending me texts, and sometimes it would be nice just to be able to text her back. It makes more sense to me to just pick up the phone and call, but dd said texting is much better when you don't want to get into a lengthy conversation with someone. I can see where that would be nice because usually when someone calls me it's at least an hours worth of conversation. LOL

It wouldn't take you long to figure it out Diane, and you can use all sorts of abbreviations, too.

i HATE texting!!! it's one thing to text a message like 'pick up milk', but the kids who have FREE UNLIMITED talk minutes and who get charged 35 cents for every text they send and receive, still text. And they will text whole conversations. why not just pick up the damn phone and TALK to them!!!! it's FREE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dh tried texting her back once and it took him forever before he finally got it done and sent to her. He said... never again! LOL The only time I'd like to use it is if she sent me a text and I had something I needed to ask or say regarding her text. I always end up calling her... which I know she is trying to avoid, (because of the lengthy conversation) so now I usually just let it go... which irritates me because when I have something to ask or say, I'd like to be able to. LOL I'd MUCH rather just call and talk... makes a lot more sense to me, and yes Ann... you're right, it's FREE... lol
