Well I am just sick at my stomach. I think (meaning I HOPE) I left the crystal ring dh gave me for Christmas at work on the back bar. I had it on there, and got home and it was off my hand.
I put lotion on before I left, and I hope upon hope I laid it on the counter.

I called my boss and she'll get there early tomorrow and look for it for me and call me. I sure hope it's there!!!

Dh is so sweet. All he said was "it can be replaced".

Bev, it was good.
I prepared it before I left for work and dh cooked it. Y'know, feta doesn't melt much. LOL I think it may have been reduced fat feta. AND, I used turkey bacon which reduced the fat even more... very good!

I'll make it again. Oh, and dd doesn't like feta so I made 2 with provolone instead of feta.

There has to be an answer somewhere that is going to help him with this. I'm sorry this doc couldn't have helped more. Poor ds, he must have been stunned with this answer.

Okay! I'm going to ask our naturopath/chiropractor and find out if there is anyone (naturo/chiro) in the Houston area he could recommend for you. I trust this guy a lot and heck... i dunno. I'm just pissed at the reg. ed. docs who are giving you the shaft. There's somebody out there, somewhere, who can help your ds. Even if you don't do a thing with the name he suggests, it'll make me feel better for posting it.

i can see what these doctors are saying. i get that his body/mind could be doing this to him. i get that he might be kind of having a self fullfilling prophecy, he's afraid to vomit so he does and it paralyzes him. i get all that, but telling him to 'just get over it and go to school' doesn't ducking work! do they honestly think i haven't done that? do they honestly think i don't wonder my son seems to have lost his ability to 'suck it up'? do they think i don't hyperventilate over the fact that my son might not go to college, might be left behind by his friends?

What is NMET? Does she do any muscle testing? Applied kinesiology?

That's the part that burns me! The doctors are so fat-headed-arrogant that they simply can't see past their own noses! They look at the records, they look at the symptoms... but they never seem to see their patients and never seem to think about getting to the heart of the matter instead of trying to put a big huge bandaid on it all or worse yet, blame it on the patient and try to put responsibility back on their shoulders. I feel so angry for your son, that no one is willing to get to the heart of the matter! Okay, so if it is his body and mind pulling a fast one on him they need to do something to help him re-program his body!!!

I hope I didn't miss this in all the posts... What caused the white bm? Is that a learned body behavior too?
