Working. I'm loving day light savings...went for a nice long walk last night. Think I'll go again tonight...and the temps are wonderful for walking.

Shoot, Vea, I don't wear a coat after the temp hits about 60! LOL

Glad you are feeling a little better, Renee.

a funny from last night's dinner. sm PRESENTS dd with her gift. she opens it and looks over at sm who is looking at her with this 'yes, i know i am wonderful for giving you such a great gift' look on her face waiting breathlessly for dd to gush. she looks at sm and says 'there is nothing in the box'. sm forgot to put it in the box! LOL we had to go back to their house to get it. it is a very pretty silver charm bracelet with a silver heart with her name engraved on it.

dd is babysitting this am, then her godmother is coming to take her to lunch.
    i am doing laundry

... Oh, that's so funny! I can only imagine what your dd must have been thinking when she saw a great big nothing in the box. How on earth could anyone forget to put a gift in the box? LOL

she said she had taken it out of the box to take to the jeweler to have the charm put on. so i guess she thought just dumping the bracelet in her purse was a good way to carry it! LOL

Got an early start on the treadmill this morning and got that all done and over with. If I have some extra time I might hop back on it and do an extra mile.

I'm going over to my mom's, hopefully by 10:00, to do some house cleaning for her. She can't (or should I say, isn't "suppose" to) bend over or pick up anything heavy... and that pretty much covers the cleaning she needs to do so... I'm the one to do it to make sure she doesn't. She's got theropy again today at 11:00... it's only a 30 minute appointment. While she's having theropy, I'm going back to her house and finishing up with the cleaning. I know she's going to want to "do lunch" again so hopefully after that I'll be able to drop her back off and come home. I've got a load in the dryer and a load in my washing machine so hopefully my laundry will be done by the end of the day today. Sarah got picked up early enough yesterday, so I was able to get my kitchen/hallway and bathroom floors washed. It felt good to get something around my own house done. So far as I know I'll have tomorrow all to myself so hopefully nothing comes up that will change that. LOL

American Idol tonight... guy's night. I hope they do better than they have been. Not much else... Hope you all have a great day!

Ok, that is bizzare! How does dd like it? It sounds really neat and like sm put a lot of thought into it by having it engraved.

I ran a few errands this morning. I'm sticking close to home waiting for the refrigerator repair person to come and look at my leaking frig. It is supposed to get up to the mid 70's today and I am looking to getting outside with my friends.

Ds1 went skiing with a friend/family this am. I have an OB appt this afternoon and ds2 has a birthday party to go to after that. No other big plans. Just some tidying around the house and the daily laundry pile. Hope you all have a good day

    she likes it.
i go back and forth on the actual thought. she tends to shop in the wholesale district (so do i) and she could have gotten it there. she tends to try to pass them off as more expensive than they are. our family brags on the deal! LOL but the spelling of dd's name can be several different ways and lots of time you can't find the pre-engraved things with her spelling.

My sister is also the type who always tries to pass a gift off as expensive. If she buy's it on sale... she'll be sure to leave the origional price tag on it someplace where she's sure it will be found. She'll go so far as to brag about how much she spent on it... when she really didn't. She's pretty competitive... LOL

Went to the chiro today. He couldn't do much and what he could do hurt. The general consensus is that I have an irritated disk. Ice for 20 minutes every two hours for the next two days and then see him again on Thursday. He wants me to rest. We're supposed to leave for vacation Sunday morning and I'm not much of a help right now. I figure if my visit Thursday doesn't make a huge difference I'll see my reg. doc again Friday and ask for enough pain meds to get me through our trip and then start physical therapy as soon as we get back. This is our last big vacation before dd1 is out of the house and I wanted it to be awesome! I feel like such a party pooper.
Today is a new day and a good day to start anew.
