Already working on my laundry... I don't know where it came from because I was all caught up with it yesterday. LOL I already got a call from one of my friends asking me if she could stop by for a visit today. I'm thinking I might make a few chef salads for lunch and maybe we'll just sit outside by the pool. It's suppose to be another gorgeous day. I've got to get in my garden and get some weeding done... I wish my plants/flowers grew as quick/fast as my weeds do. Hitting the consignment store today to see if they have any decent shorts.

Picking my mom up after dh gets home, Target and back home to sit/relax. Not too sure what else.

I hope you all have a great day.

Hope your dh has a safe trip, Renee. (Haven't played Pacman in years and years!)
Enjoy your lunch with your friend Diane! (I so want a pool! But $35K for a smaller inground one just isn't going to happen--maybe I'll look at above the ground ones.)

Going to Wild Waters for our Home School End of Year Blast today! Should be fun--need to get there early so we can get in the middle of a covered area for shade.

    Laundry and cleaning otherwise.

Ann, I thought that was last week, did ya'll miss it?
    Mickey, how is Abbey?
Renee, I hope your dh has a safe trip.

Housework here. Supposed to have a date at the pool, but unless the rain stops and the sun comes out, we'll have a playdate at home. Work tonight.

I am feeling better today. A huge storm came through yesterday evening and wiped the humidity and heat out of the air. It went from 90 yesterday to 72 today.

Soccer practice tonight and then I might think about going back to the parents house tomorrow for another organizing day.

Safe trip to your dh Renee.
Amy, we had the tip of a storm that brought in the cooler temps too. Too cool for my liking (it's summer!) lol but at least I can bring baby out in it.
Had a meeting at the school this am. The school fun fair later so no cooking tonight for me. Dh has euchre, I miss playing but will get to see a lot of the regulars tonight since it's next to the school. The ladies will all be happy to see the baby. Nothing else planned at all. Should do some laundry. Have a great day all

    The blast sounds fun.

We have an above ground pool and love it. It was here when we moved in and honestly I wanted to get rid of it. Was so close to selling it because the first couple summers we barely touched it. Now that the boys are older we use it all the time and are so glad we kept it. Dh built a nice deck to it, not all the way around but it's big enough for the kids to get in and out and for us to have a few lawn chairs up there. I would love an inground too but those prices are out of my league. You should look into the above if you want a pool, you get the same enjoyment out of having a pool but at a fraction of the cost.

We've had our pool for years... they weren't very popular or very expensive back then.

Dd #1 and her dh have been thinking about getting an above ground pool. I've told everyone they can come over here any time to use the pool... but it's not the same as being able to walk out of your house and jumping into your own pool. A lot of our neighbor's have above ground pools... )

After all the kids moved out, my mom asked us when we were going to bulldoze the pool in. I was like... what? I love our back yard... we center our entire landscaping around the pool, and it wouldn't be the same without it.
