I'm getting ready to attack my mess of a house. I have a list a mile long of things to do. I don't have anywhere I have to be for a while. It might just be a clean the house in your pj's day. Dd might be babysitting tonight.

Jen, I love cleaning in my jammies!

Not today though. I'm STILL recoping from the stomach bug and I'm sick of feeling sick. Dh is going out to get me one of those heat wraps for my back, I really wracked it the other night.

Otherwise, not much happening. It's rainy and we have no plans so laundry and being lazy sounds good to me.

Only 3 more days of Christmas vacation. I want a longer break!!

So far it is quiet here today. Dd is getting ready to go to a wedding in Syracuse for her 4th/5th grade teacher. She invited ALL the kids from the 5 years she has been teaching to stand in the aisle as she walks down and hand her a rose to end up being her bouquet. I think she said she had 32 kids coming. Dd is hopping a ride with a neighbor because I have no urge to drive a 3 hour round trip. Dh wants to take me to the mall today to buy bras Now that I have lost weight, he thinks I should dress like a harlequin I might just put the weight back on....

I need to clean too. Gonna take down the Christmas stuff.
DD is going to the mall with a friend and then later going over to another friend's house.

Amy, I am ROFLAMO about your dh taking you bra shopping!! You KNOW it's for what HE wants, not what you want. And how cute about your dd's teacher! What a cool idea.

Well dh and dd are doing some plumbing repairs in her bathroom. I like the way he thinks; he's got her in there helping him b/c he told her she'd be on her own one day and needs to know how to do some of this stuff.
They are going to see Alvin later this afternoon and taking a gf of hers with them. Then, tomorrow 3 of her gfs are coming over to see/share their Christmas gifts. I need to get some food for them and maybe a craft to do, but that's the last thing I feel like doing. If I do go out, Blockbuster is the first stop, gonna get myself some movies to occupy myself this afternoon.

Amy, your dd's teacher only had 32 kids in 5 years of teaching? Isn't 32 close to what you'd have in one year? Cute idea though, I bet your dd is thrilled. Enjoy bra shopping!

Not sure what the daytime hours hold. Ds is getting ready to work noon til 9 pm. I need to find out what time his dinner break is and take him something, otherwise he'll eat chips/chocolate bars . We have some of dh's family coming over tonight for poker.

yeah-this wedding is taking 1.5 hours away from the school. Between people being gone for x-mas, the others might not want to make the trip.

I got up early to go over and help my mom take down her Christmas tree/decorations. We only got the upstairs done, she said she wanted to wait until after New Year's to take all the downstairs tree/decorations down.

Got a call from Dawn, she ended up having to bring Sarah into Children's Hospital again, her cough wasn't getting any better, plus now she was having a hard time breathing. With her lung issues Dawn didn't want to take any chances. Her Oxygen stats were way down to 83%, which isn't good. Well... she's got pneumonia and an ear infection. She had just been looked at last week (Wednesday) and everything was okay. I couldn't believe it. She had never once complained about her ear hurting. Poor kid...

Still gotta go to SAM's, maybe somewhere else to look for a new coffee maker. For some reason, our's keeps turning itself off... Always something.
