That Koala was named Sam, was a girl and she must have been very thirsty to drink cause as a rule they don't drink water, they get 99% their moisture/liquid from the gum leaves they've shown a few animals here, with kangas, possums even dogs etc would you believe another fire has been lit in a similar area, some one is so not right in the head!

Happy I like that age is only a number and I'm unlisted ..... to be honest age doesn't worry me as there is nothing you can do about it but enjoy the privileges those digits give you. Enjoy life LOL

The humidity has gone down a bit here today but still hot and 32*C yippee!

Happy mine is unlisted too but its BR-549. or 8375309. Sounds familiar, ha.
Kathy, i hadn't thought about it the digits way. Ha that was a good answer.
I hope that all has gone well over in your part of the world now Kathy. I hope all the fires are out and they caught whoever was responsible for them.

The fires are more under control over here but they are still evacuating areas I think the let them burn so that it clears and they can rebuild or clear those large tracts of land ... don't know but there has been no more loss of life that I'm aware of.

I've been getting a new kitchen in these last 2 days, we've been saving for the last 3 years, thank heavens we didn't do the job ourselves, it's turned out to be more than we could've thought to handle can't wait till it's all finished and I can get my kettle out of the bathroom LOL

The appliances are less than 5years old excluding the frig and freezer but I did get a new deeper SS sink, love it I can fit all my frypan in at once instead of turning ends.
Just need the plasterer now and then we can paint the rest of the house.
Now I can store up my cupboards and drawers again wooohoo!

Breakfast for dinner should cover both ends of the day meals, don't forget we are 15hrs ahead of you, I'd wait until the humidity goes away it's back and horrible ... also gives me a bit more time to tidy up LOL
... apart from that any time.

I can fit my whole electric frypan in the sink handles and all woooo hooo!
It's 8 inches deep, 16 inch square with ovalled out sides that make left to right across 18 inches and it has one of those little rinsing sinks beside it, much better than my old one.
The kitchen is in and it took me ages to restock the cupboards (only 2 in 2 corners and the pantry) and find places for the right things. I now have drawers instead of cupboards for my plates, glasses, bowls. I have a rubbish bin/recycling bin installed in a cupboard of it's own with a shelf for liners and dustpan and brush and other odds and ends.
I also now have cupboards above the fridge freezer pair and a built in computer cabinet beside that, it has doors and all the computer stuff can be closed away.
I'm waiting for my spashback that is being done. The plasterer is coming to fix the walls so that the splashback can go on and painting fun can ensue!
I will attach photos when it's all done.
I can't figure where stuff is and just keep opening drawers etc till I find that spatula! LOL
Then there is the rest of the house to start on, the bathroom, carpet cleaning, painting the eaves, checking the roof, you know all that other fun stuff LOL

No the kitchen was done so that we have it 'right' for many years to come, they will have to drag us out of here at retirement time for the nursing home LOL We live in a cul de sac of 10 houses with a 25 minute easy walk to the shops, they bay is esay 5-10 mins easy walk the other way, we don't plan on moving .............. maybe if we win lotto but you hve to buy tickets for that and we don't so that would be a draw back in that regard LOL

A 'pounding'? as in a whack on the back?

Oh i know how's rich now don't you happy? LOL. Kathy you sound like you live in a very pretty spot and i don't blame you then for not moving or even thinking about moving. Oh as for a pounding, we would have like a shower and bring you pounds of food or ??. You know we gotta fill up all that new space for you and you know you want all new pans, dishes, dish towels, etc., right?? LOL so when me and happy comes for supper, we will give you a pounding. We will invite everyone from anywhere that you might know. Ha
