MM! Since we are renovating, we, I mean I get to redecorate everyroom in the house at once. We have to repaint due to the tile. SO.. I came up with a good way to reuse something. The boys had a little closet thing they used for their toys. You know the kind like they sell in Wal-mart, you put it together. Well it was knd of banged up and in poor shape so instead of tossing it. I took it apart to make shelving in their room. I think if I fill in the screw holes, sand them down, the prime and paint, they should work. Anyone else try something like this ! Any tips ?

We had one of those cheap put together dressers that died. I pulled out the drawers and reused the bottom of the drawers for a Barbie house. The old style of house that had plastic columns. I had extra columns from a garage sale buy. Then DH took the shell of the dresser and turned it into a book shelf. He installed shelves and painted the whole thing. Since I have literally thousands of books its come in very handy! He had filled in screw holes with putty. I don't remember him saying anything about having problems.
