I'm up way too early. My lower back is really bothering me and the bugger of it is that I can't tell if it's just muscular or if it's related to the uti stuff. I took a muscle relaxant to see if it helps, so hopefully that will give me an idea.

I've got a to do list to get through today in order to get everything ready for tomorrow. I'm trying to be quiet because the rest of the family is still sleeping, but I may have to just go ahead an haul the vacuum out in a little while anyway!

I found this recipe for the cream cheese cherry pies and think I'm going to do it instead. It was more along the lines of what I was thinking, rather than more of a cheesecake with cherry topping.

    INGREDIENTS:
1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese, room temperature
1 package (3 ounces) cream cheese, room temperature
    2 tablespoons milk
    1 cup confectioners' sugar
1 graham cracker pie crust, 9-inch, prepared
1/2 cup chopped pecans or walnuts
1 envelope (1 3/4 ounces) whipped topping mix (Dream Whip), prepared
    1 teaspoon almond extract
1 can (21 ounces) cherry pie filling
    PREPARATION:
    Directions for cherry pie
Combine cream cheese, milk, and powdered sugar; beat well until smooth. Spoon mixture into pie shell; sprinkle with chopped pecans or walnuts. Spread prepared whipped topping over chopped walnuts or pecans. Combine cherry pie filling with almond extract; spoon over whipped topping. Chill cherry pie thoroughly

So... cleaning, decluttering and cooking sums up my day. Hope ya'll have a great one!

    Enjoy your pampering, Ann!
Today is a new day and a good day to start anew.

back to dance recitals today. a show @ 2 and one @ 7. the one at 7, and the matinee tomorrow have different numbers (2 casts) and dd's class is doing a production number to In My Daughter's Eyes that none of us moms have been allowed to watch yet. Everyone who HAS seen it, comes out bawling!! I need to remember to pack my Kleenex!

Laundry is going, dh cooked b'fast and dd is still conked out. I've got errands to run and don't even feel like getting out of this chair. LOL

The sun is shining and the temps are ok. I'm walking downtown to meet a girlfriend for coffee at noon, then I'm going to get my niece's dog and take him for a walk. Ds is working today. Don't think dh's plans extend beyond the backyard hammock, lol.

It's pretty nice outside yet, but it's suppose to rain a little later. I don't know why it's always so nice during week, until the weekends come... and it just has to rain.

I'm sewing some new tablecloths for the side tables next to our bed. That shouldn't take too long to do. After that I've got to catch up on a some house cleaning. I don't know what dh has on his agenda. We'll probably go to SAM's Club a little later... and while were in that direction, I'd like to go back to Wal*Mart... I forgot to look for some red dye for my mom, plus I need some in a different color for myself. I didn't think about it until we were a little more than halfway home. Not too much more on the agenda...

Hope you all have a wonderful day...

    Thanks for asking...

It was very emotional for dh's boss and his wife. They broke down a few times... and of course, all I have to do is see tears.

Otherwise, we think it went real well. It sounds like if we can get the financing, which I don't think will be a problem... it's a done deal. We still need to iron out a few details, like where to house the office... downsize it and keep it where it is, or move it somewhere closer to home or... maybe even move it into our home. It's a HUGE step/investment for us... something not to jump into too quickly. Needless to say, we've been doing a lot of talking...

We are discussing the possibility of buying dh's bosses insurance company.

Went to help dh at the hall this am and then took a few of the kids to yard sales. Found a small table to put on the patio beside the swing and ds3 found a little rocking chair he liked. It's all white and we want to paint it a rainbow of colors. Going dancing tonight at a benefit dance for breast cancer. Hope you all have a good night.

I am so disoriented! I was inside the high school from 1:00 - 11:00 and watched two recital performances and in the middle of the second one, I had to stop and figure out if it was afternoon or evening. LOL

The shows were great and I just love watching dd and her girlfriends grow and become such great dancers.
