    Wednesday

So far we have raised $235 for the end of the year presents for ds's teacher and class aide. I have some shopping to do today! I hope I can find everything on my wish list without too much hassle. And since I am out, I must hit the Kohl's sale.

My hair looks fabu! I was at the hairdressers for 4 freaking hours though. Who knew you could get so worn out by just sitting there. LOL Underneath, my hair is a chocolate brown; then it goes to a mixture of lightbrown/golden dark blonde with a weave of pale blonde highlights at the crown.

Had a good visit with brother, sil and their little guy yesterday and last night. Now I have a lot of tidying to do today and some laundry. Need to be at the school this afternoon to decorate the gym for ds2's grade 6 grade which is tomorrow morning. Need to find a 1 hour dry cleaners too, and his shoes.
    Have a good day all
Amy, the colors sound pretty, glad you like it.
Ann, do you stay with your dd at the mall or can you separate and meet up later so you can go look at stuff on your own?

    up and going here.

1st anniversary of dh's mothers death, I know its hitting hard for him and his siblings. keeping them in my prayers today.

I have a lunch date so that will cut up my day, planning a trip for the boss to the UK, that was all sealed up a month ago and at the last minutes is unraveling at the seams, argh...calling London this morning

Home for dinner and some quiet time...

Happy shopping!! Your hair sounds wonderful. It's just about time for me to go in for more highlights.

It looks like it's going to be another beautiful day. High's in the 80's. I got everything I needed/wanted to get done yesterday, so I'm going to be lazy and sit/relax and read my new book. Oh yeah... I've got a pair of jeans I need to hem for dd #2, she left them here for me when she came over on Sunday, but that shouldn't take too long.

Picking my mom up after dh gets home from work. Were eating at SubWay tonight then stopping off at Target. I usually have Sarah on Wednesday's... but Dawn hasn't said anything yet so not too sure if I'm going to have her or not. Otherwise... a very noneventful day planned.

I hope you all have a great day!

I had trouble getting in here this morning!

I'm not sure what all is going on today. Ds1 and dd2 worked ahead in schoolwork so they have the rest of this week off. Next week is a scheduled holiday, so this is really nice. Dh, dd1 and ds1 leave Saturday for the Grand Canyon, so dh and I might go out tonight. He's got to meet with the site prep guy at 5:30 anyway, so we'd just go from there.

Dh is taking a class at the community college on building your own home. So far he's really glad he's taking it because he's learning a lot. I keep trying to squelch any spark of excitement I might feel about the new house lol, just because it's going to take so stinkin' long to do. Maybe I can at least take some pics of the property/view to share with you all. The one thing I am excited about is the square footage is 2341! (not including garage, patios, etc.) That's a ton bigger than what we're in now and I'm looking forward to the extra space!

I'm working on preparing vbs crafts so that's on my to do today list, too.

Hope you all have a great day!

I ended up going to 4 doctors offices today.

Ds went to bed with what seemed like kidney pain and he woke up with it too. So I took him to his doctor and there wasn’t anything in his urine and the pain is now gone. They did a blood draw and we will know the results tonight. If his creatinine (sp?) level comes back high, we will see a nephrologist (kidney doctor) at our children's hospital, if the level is normal, we will do nothing for now, unless he has more pain or other symptoms. His doctor is being very cautious with Brich’s family history of kidney disease.

The good news is when we went to a lab for ds's blood draw the woman doing it and I chatted about my experience yesterday and she told me to come see her for my draw. I just happened to have my orders in my purse so she drew my blood, first stick!! I will go to her from now on.

Then I went for my podiatrist appt and he sent me to make an appointment with the physical therapist, and get this, all 4 of these offices are in the same building, lol.

Just waiting for ds's results now...

Angie, you are living right, girl! Hope ds' tests come back with good results.
Pam, how exciting! Dh and I would definitely divorce if we tried to build a house. LOL

Getting ready to go to work. Dd's girlfriends stayed here until 2pm, but they had a great time and are no trouble at all; we all have fun together.
Replaced dd's phone and spent last night getting her number transferred and she got her "digits" (lol) put back after using the friend's phones.

The weather here could not be better! Just went to the mailbox and I could have had the a/c off all day had I known it was so nice out. Getting down into the 50's tonight. Ahhhh...

Angie, we ended up doing a "bottomless" candy jar for dh for his desk at work and the kids made him a huge card.

Jenn, I'm trying to be real low-key on the house demands, lol. So far, so-so, lol. We're not on the same page on a lot of things, but I'm willing to give up a lot, just to get this done. Hopefully there won't be too much friction.
Today is a new day and a good day to start anew.
