How was your mini vacation? Did you see lots of "WILD" animals?

All the animals were pretty lazy except the baboons and one rhino. LOL The baboons see your car as a moving jungle gym. We must have had about 8 of them on ours at one time. The kids were hysterical. Our car was trashed in mud and footprints. As we were driving towards the giraffes, zebra, wildebeasts, a rhino decided to pass right in front of our car to get to the other side. You don't realize how big they are until you feel really small in your car. We would like to explore Canada more, but customs is a total drag. I thought getting into Canada was a PITA, but coming back into the states was a 1 1/2 hour wait. A couple of people we were idling with accused us of smuggling mud out of their country. ROFL Even the customs guy got a good laugh at our car. It was the perfect mini-vacation. Thanks for asking.

That sounds fun! We went to a place like that in North Carolina and dd kind of got freaked because the animals are so aggresive coming after you for food.

Sounds like you had a lot of fun...
I'd probably be nervous about anything wild coming too close to our car. (and dh would have a total fit if anything climbed up ON his car... )

I have a picture of a zebra with it's head inside our van eating out of ds's hand. The emu's were the most aggressive.

Sounds like fun. I went with ds1 on a school trip to one in Quebec a couple years ago and it was fun but no animals got on the bus. Would love to drive through one with the kids next year.
