    Saturday

Good morning!! It's a balmy 8 degrees, -8 with windchill. My washing machine is still frozen. It's supposed to get up to 29 today so I'm hoping they will thaw. I'm going with a friend to another furniture warehouse sale brich's company is having. They are selling off 8000 items. I'm not really looking for anything, but I'm sure I'll need something when I get there. lol

    Have a great day!

    That's me, all the way.
If I don't NEED something, I'll definitely find something I do.

Starting out slow... I already made the , still have a load of to fold, need to get on my treadmill... then a , (hey... where's the making the bed or exercising smiley's?? LOL ) and then I have no clue what we'll be doing the rest of the day. I still don't want to venture out too far, just in case Dawn/James need us to take Sarah, but as far as I know she's still doing okay. Some cramping, but she's pretty much been doing that all along, so..... your prayers are working.

I'm thinking I "should" go into the office today to catch up on everything I wasn't able to get to last week... but I'm going to see if dh has things he needs to get done there too before going in... so maybe we can go in together, even if it's only for a few hours.

It's already 21 degree's, which feels like a heat wave to us right now after all those minus degree temperatures. It's pretty windy though, and of course that will make it feel a lot colder. The whole week is suppose to be above zero... so, that will be nice.

Anyway, not much else on the agenda. I hope you all have a wonderful weekend!!!!

Ann, maybe a professional massage will help
Angie, I would be looking too! Have fun.
Diane, will James take over the housework? Hope you get your stuff done.
    Kat, I'm hibernating today too!

It's too cold to go anywhere but I may bring the kids to the pet store this weekend to get fish. They all got tanks for Christmas but ds3's didn't come with a pump and filter so we need to take care of all that soon. A friend is stopping by later today for a box of baby toys I am done with but I found more stuff for her so she'll have two overflowing boxes instead. Her dd is expecting later this summer. That will help free up some space in ds4's bedroom. Think I will be getting more done in bedrooms today. Have a good day all

The Fairmont Orchid, Hawaii offers guests an exotic blend
of the essence of Aloha with the relaxed, tropical spirit that
is Hawaii. The resort’s oli (Hawaiian song) speaks to the
aromatic fragrance found here of laua‘e (fern) and puakenikeni
(flowers), of ocean spray at Pauoa Bay and the beckoning
coconut trees, all great treasures first discovered here long
ago by the ali‘i (Hawaiian royalty).
You too can discover these treasures in your own space and time
at the resort’s award-winning spa with treatments that integrate
the Big Island’s natural therapeutic environment with ancient
Hawaiian healing arts for an enriching complement to your
    own inner spirit.
Centered within the safety of four dormant volcanoes (Hualalai,
Mauna Loa, Mauna Kea on the Big Island and Haleakala on
Maui) and the impressive Kohala mountain range to the north,
the resort and spa blend elegance, comfort and Hawaiian style
that captures the mana (power) of our island. Choose from
among 10 outdoor waterfall hale (hut) built above the flowing
waters of cascading streams and ponds,
    5 oceanfront cabana
under the palm trees amid white coral and black lava, or 3 indoor
treatment rooms to begin your escape.

    ALI‘I EXPERIENCE
    110 minutes
Let us treat you like ali‘i (Hawaiian royalty) as you surrender
to the synergistic energies of our two most popular Polynesian
pleasures. Awa Earth and Fire and Kahinu (both described
on page 4) blend for the ultimate in Hawaiian body experiences

    AWA EARTH & FIRE
    Tradition / 50 minutes
This Hawaiian style detoxifying treatment begins with
a soothing lomilomi massage with pure warm coconut
oil. Hawaiian medicinal herbs are compressed into the
skin with a warm lava stone gently softening the muscles

    KAHINU
    Nourish / 50 minutes
The nourishing properties of coconut oil have long been
used by the Polynesians to condition the hair and scalp.
Warm coconut oil is luxuriously poured over the head
and massaged into the hair and scalp. Neck, shoulder,
foot and hand massage complete this deeply relaxing and
    unique experience

Ann, I hope it feels better as you go through the day. (If you need to really rest it, I would be willing to substitute for you on the hawaii trip. Your family can ignore me if they want. I can act short. ROFL)

We got about 15 inches of snow between last night and now...and it's still coming down, but much more slowly. On top of the extremely cold temps we've had, this is like adding insult to injury. I have a book, plenty of coffee, and a couch. I guess I'll get through this okay. Fortunately I have nowhere to go today. Tomorrow I'm supposed to head out Amy's way to visit my sister and check out her new house. We'll see about that!

It's warmer today!!! Yeah!!! Doing some cleaning today, and hoping to go out somewhere for lunch. We've been cooped up for about 3 days. No other plans for today...no basketball games (amazing!!). Stuff to do, but not much motivation to do those things! LOL

You shouldn't try to force a fast recovery. You know what extra years do to the speed of physical resilience.

(This noted by someone who nursed a MINOR tennis elbow for almost 7 months! LOL)
