I wish that I could help but no one but me in this family likes potato soup so I don't make it, I just order it on a menu if we're out and they have it.

Let us know if you find a good one!

I don't have a recipe as such, but I like potato and bacon soup.
Boil the bacon in a large pot and cover with water. Cook and skim off the fat when cooled keeping the stock.
Pick off the bacon putting back into bacon stock. Add 3-4 potatoes diced, a chopped onion, a handful of peas and a diced carrot.
Salt and pepper to taste and just let simmer till potato is half collapsed. I kinds make it up as I go but you get the idea.

    potato soup recipe

I have a local restaurant recipe that my famliy loves, and it is just too easy!
    Allison's Baked Potato Soup
    One cup milk
    One cup heavy whipping cream
2 cans Campbells Cream of Potato Soup
2 (or 3) cans sliced potatoes, depending on how thick you like your soup.

Stir all together in large baking dish and bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes to one hour. Dish into bowls and add cheddar cheese, green onions, bacon bits, or anything you like on top. It is delicious and easy!
