Have you seen any movies lately?

Have you watched any new movies lately? How about something that has been out for a while but is new to you?

My dh and I watched Gran Torino. He really liked it but I thought that it was just ok. We've also watched Righteous Kill, which we both liked.

My kids and I are catching up on the High School Musicals. We've watched the first one so far and we're planning on watching the second one this weekend. We watched Finding Nemo for the 100th time this past weekend but it was new to my dh - who was determined that he wasn't going to watch it but ended up sitting through it anyway.

My kids are excited to watch the Nutty Proffesor that I won from a FamilyCorner.com contest! They love Drake Bell so this should keep them entertained for a while. lol!

How funny, we recently watched Righteous Kill and loved it, and we also watched Bangkok Dangerous, which i thought was pretty good.

I saw it, it was really far fetched, but it had some cool effects in it. Glad I didn't pay to go to the theater and see it though LOL

I don't care for Angie so I probably won't see that one.

I don't know about Bangkok Dangerous...who's in it? What's it about?

My kids finally watched the Drake movie. Andy didn't care for it because it was a cartoon but Alexis liked it.

The only star in it is Nicholas Cage. He plays a hired killer. It's not bad, don't think I could really explain it though LOL

I used to like Nick Cage but now he tends to get on my nerves. Not sure why.

We rented Deception to watch tonight. The movie place was pretty picked over.

I need a good sappy movie to watch...any suggestions?

We recently watched Journey to the Center of the Earth with Brenden Fraiser and thought it was pretty good. Another one that we watched that isn't new but is one that the whole family likes is The Pacifier with Vin Diesel. We also like The GamePlan with Dwayne Johnson (The Rock) and it's another good family one.

I will have to ask my son if he's seen this one. For some reason it's in my head that he has seen it.

During my dh's days off - Thurs. & Fri.- we watched Lakeview Terrace with Sam Jackson. He is one of my favs. I was so disappointed in this one!

We also watched Taken with Liam Neeson (what a hottie!!). I thought that it was really good. One of my dh's friends from work told him that it was a "guys' movie" so I guess that makes me "one of the boys" because I liked it. lol!
