    Thinking of getting a bunny

It's been many years since I have owned a rabbit. I think I was a senior in high school when I had one last. We've had guinea pigs over the years, but we've really been considering getting a couple of bunnies.

My dad said he would build me a good hutch so they could stay on the back of the house, but I would still bring them in daily to get socialized.

    Anyone else own rabbits?

My kids are definitely going to want to come and live with you once I tell them this! Alexis was sitting on a 4 wheeler the other night in Bass Pro Shop and all Andy was talking about was how he wished that we lived near you so that he could go riding with your kids.

Good luck with a new bunny! I can't wait to see him/her!

Amanda, when my dd was a teenager she got a rabbit. Jelly, was all white and was just adorable. She acted more like a dog then a rabbit! We had a cage in the backyard for her but in the Winter time we kept her inside. We use to let her run around the house and she would come to you like a dog. When she was finished getting enough exercise/play time she would go back into her indoor cage. We never did get another rabbit because I doubt we would ever find one as calm/good as she was.
A positive attitude may not solve all of your problems but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort..... ~~Caroline~~

Aww! I remember my rabbits being like that too! I'm trying to decide which kind to get, and need to remind my dad he said he would build the hutch LOL
