    Hi my name is Jennifer, I am new to this site and just thought I would introduce myself. I am a 23 year old work at home mom. I have a 6 year old daugther who will be entering 1st grade shortly..man they grow up too soon..KWIM. I have a wonderful husband that I married in May 2000. DD's dad is in the Navy and lives in TX. DH is great with DD he has accepted her as his own and she just adores him. I look forward to chatting with you all. I love message boards and am so glad I came across this one

    JAK, as a novice, what does the letter "d" when referring to family members mean? I get the point that you are talking about your husband, daughter, son, but the extra d???

    I am not Jen, but I can answer your question. It stands for dear. However when refering to your husband it could be darn. LOL!!! Jen, I hope you don't think that I am taking over your post. I was just going to welcome them and figured I might as well answer.
