    Summer Activities

Summer is coming! I am planning for an educational summer activities for my kids. Though, they are still at school but I want them to continue their learning process. I have here children's books, movies, and children's bible stories. Can you share your idea with me?

With summer quickly approaching, I am starting to look for field trip ideas around our area. I looking for places that are free or cheap for us to tour.

In the last 2 yrs., we've toured our local news station and sat in for an afternoon broadcast (free), a local radio station (free and we got goodie bags with t shirts, mini footballs, pens, magnets and hand sanitizer in them), our power company's Energy Explorium (free), a local fire station (free), the C. Grier Beam Truck Museum (free) and a few other places. These places are all educational, too!

Those are great ideas We used to live by Ocean Spray's factory and they gave tours, so did the marshmallow factory and the Jelly Belly factory! Those were fun
