Do you make your own furnishings?

In your home do you make your own curtains, cushions, paint your walls and in general make/do your own stuff.

I sew so I make my own cushions and curtains, did you know that you can make a nice valance frill for your bathroom window with just a couple of pillowcases? It's amazing how little it can cost and how easy it is to brighten up your house with spring now in the northern hemisphere.

Change those old pictures in the frames on the walls for new ones, calendars are great for this, how about ...................... ?

I don't do any sewing, but l like to paint, if I'm in the mood. I love to decorate and try new ideas....My dh makes cute little tables he makes great birdhouses too! He built a beautiful set of shelves in our family room. He is very handy around the house......

I love to paint...I do sew but not as much as I used too...I crochet and make all my afghans...and pillows...
