    Ann

What kinds of fruit do you serve? I am getting a bit tired of the same old, same old. I'm sure you have access to a much wider selection of fresh fruit at this time of the year than I do, but just looking for some new ideas.

Kathy......Canteloupe, apples, pears, oranges, grapes, bananas are our mainstays. Just bought the most gorgeous HUGE strawberries (paid too much, but they were too pretty to pass up) Sometimes, I get raspberries and blueberries, but the kids aren't wild about them.

We are having pork chops too, in the crockpot. Recipe doesn't have a title, but I was told to add (and I did), stewed tomatoes, canned mushrooms, canned mushroom soup, and garlic powder. I'm going to serve with mashed potatoes and a veggie, but haven't decided which yet (ideas anyone?). I'm really looking forward to dinner tonight.

That sounds yummy, Ann! We're having spaghetti, some kind of veggie and French bread, maybe salad too. Yesterday was chili. Busy week so simple stuff works best. I'll have to try your pork chop recipe.
Today is a new day and a good day to start anew.

I am going to try Amy's chicken lasagna recipe. (Please don't kill me. LOL!) Hope to get some bread in the bread machine, too.

Ann, yep those are our mainstays too. Except for the berries. Not available this time of year. It's all so expensive though, I just paid $3.99 for a cantaloupe and even bananas have gone up to 69 cents/lb! To think in the summer cantaloupes are as low as $1.29! Oh well, costs to be healthy I guess

Must be a pork chop night, cause that's what we're having too. We're also having twice baked potatos, steamed broccolli, and we need to finish off the cherries I bought the other day so those will be on the table as well.

We are having chicken in the crock pot. You put in chicken, cream of chicken soup, 8 oz. sour cream, dried beef and cook all day. We are having mashed potatoes, corn, and biscuit to go with it.

This sounds good!! I love having all of these new things to try!!! It actually sounds similar to something I make in the oven with chicken wrapped in bacon, so I'm sure we'll like it. Thanks!

I wouldn't say I am skinny LOL, but I do use light products whenever possible and I try not to over-indulge.
